A lot of the comments here seem to think that enlightenment/prophesy can be reached by a process that can be learned. But they are missing the basic step which is that you have to reach a level of righteousness and perfection of character in order for God to grant you that enlightenment. Following the mechanical process will achieve nothing unless God chooses to bestow its results upon you.

God bringing the animals to be named by Adam was a tremendous token by the creator to show respect for his viceregent. When Adam named them God even though he knows more than Adam and as the maker would have been the proper giver of name....was willing to cooperate with man as He God had made Adam ruler of the physical realm. When it says "that was the name thereof". Shows the wisdom of Adam in that his nomenclature was accepted even by God. And second the athority with which he was invested.

We lost the gift of seeing through the world because of sin and disobedience to God. Learning Karbala is to be able to know the secrets of creation and do miracles . Isn’t amending our relationship with God and obeying him more important than gaining power to decipher the code of creation and performing miracles? God would bestow the gift of performing miracles and more to the humble ones who fear him and obey him not the power seekers.
@sethjshapiro5 жыл бұрын
Jews don't believe in the original sin. That is a Christian idea, meant to justify the idea of salvation through Jesus (i.e. Jesus saves you from the punishment you naturally incur due to original sin). Jews have always believed that all people are fundamentally Good. Kabbala is not a means for gaining power; it is primarily a system of meditation to become enraptured in the experience of God and thereby approach the level of the Prophets. As God is the greatest giver, the Kabbalist seeks to transform themselves into pure givers of love.

Seth Shapiro I desire to learn more about the Jewish traditions and everything associated with Israel. I’m a Christian but I have had this strong dislike in many of the pastors or preachers who seem to preach differently about the Old Testament. I have learned a lot from watching videos regarding the Old Testament and I love how we can see how G-d had a relationship with us and all His creations. There are a lot of books taken out of the Bible and I highly dislike that, we have commandments in the Old Testament that G-d commands us to keep that many so called Christians disregard as no longer necessary. I haven’t fasted as I use to but when I did I remember something that happened to me one day during prayer that left me feeling really drained but a feeling as if I was walking on clouds and everything that once troubled me just wiped away.
Fear him! God Is love! My reason why I no longer connect with Christianity

This is a good talk with lots of great allegories and metaphors to help us visualise these abstract topics. One thing puzzled me a bit though. At minutes 5 and 6 Rabbi Glaser describes how Adam can see wisdom being cascaded down straight from the source (G*d) through the various layer of the upper worlds right down to him. At 7:17 it is mentioned that Adam could see from one end of the world to the other, and the matrix of creation itself at 7:23 and through all of creation, 7:36. As Rabbi Glaser says: Adam's insight and knowledge were as translucent like a finger nail. However, they become opaque once he has eaten the forbidden fruit. (roughly paraphrased) But this immediately throws up a big question: if the insight G*d had granted Adam was really as great as described, how could he not have known what would happen if he eats the fruit? G*d said not to eat from it. G*d gave him so many insights about the fabric of the universe... but he would keep this very simple one from him? (some of the prophets referred to in this talk as 'Kabbalists' could use their access to the upper worlds to see thousands of years into the future...) So there seems to be a stark contrast here between the Kabbalistic account of the vast amount of Adam's knowledge on the one hand and his being so 'blind' to end up hopelessly overcome by a temptation that seems far too small in comparison. Would anyone care to try to explain how this is plausible? I know this talk is a few years old now but am seriously wondering and maybe someone reads this :) Thanks!

Took me 14 years to begin to understand Kabbalah. I was first exposed to it in 2006 and everything went over my head. A few years ago I started to feel religious and recently I decided to read the Bible. While attending the local Church I first realized that there was something wrong. As I kept reading the Bible I began to sense that there has to be and explanation for some things there were mentioned in the Bible. And it starts very fast! In the beginning G-d created the light! Yet there’s no Sun. The Christian community couldn’t give me a satisfactory answer. Well eventually I left the Church and now I’m studying Torah and Kabbalah every day. My life finally has a meaning.
@GodofLovers4 жыл бұрын
I do believe in Christ but the church today is ignorant of a lot. Plus the bible has been manipulated and has mistranslations. I have seen christ on a vision and had an experience more real than this reality. So I am a Christian Kabbalist now. The Torah, teachings of Christ, and the kabbalah is where it's at from my experience. 😁God bless

@@GodofLovers But that’s such an oxymoron. If you studied Hebrew Bible you would have no doubt in your mind that the Lord your and our G-d is One and there’s no one beside him. Secondly you would also know that when Messiah comes there would be a Peace on earth and everyone living would know him. This is in the Bible. Moreover, Jesus himself said in Mathew 5:18 "For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Meaning the Law, ( book of Leviticus). If the Law says G-d is One and there’s no one besides him what more do you have to be told that Jesus is not G-d??? Nor he is his Son. Do you realize how foolish you sound?

In 2D, there are 1D shadows projected. In 3D, there are 2D shadows projected. He's saying this reality is a 3D projection of the 4th dimension. This makes sense because spirits are not bound by time. So the spirits live in a 4D world. However, God cast those spirits out of heaven and into that 4D world, meaning that God is in a 5D (or higher) realm.
@atziluth51984 жыл бұрын
@Jeremy Mettler im not understanding your main point. What is it, and how does it relate to my comment?
@atziluth51983 жыл бұрын
@Rapid Breast Reduction I get your point, but I would have to disagree. And please hear me out. If you cast a shadow on a line inside a 2D plane, you get a line. The same line. Thats true. But that can be done here in 3D. Take a sheet of paper and cast a shadow on it, youll get the same 2D sheet of paper. This is because that object is already a lesser dimension than its surroundings. Take a cube for example, cast a shadow in a 3D world and you get a plane. A line is a 1D object, because the individual elements can only move along one axis. But if you take a 2D object inside a 2D plane, you cast a shadow on the edges and behind it will show a 1D line. Now lets go deeper. Imagine you are a single ball in an infinite line of balls. There is one ahead of you and one behind you. Those balls are all you see and will ever see. You cant move sideways, only forward and backward. Thats how its always been and always will be. This is a 1D line. If you cast a shadow against the guy ahead of you, you will get a single point on the wall behind him. This point cannot move forward or back, side to side, or up and down. This is a 0D point because it cant move on any axis, it just exists where it is, in relation to nothing. Because from its perspective, it is all there is. A 3D object can be made with an elongation or rotation of a 2D object, a 2D object can be made with elongation or rotation of 1D object, a 1D object can only be made with elongation of a 0D object. Lets try and regress to 0D from a 3D space. This is done with shadows. A shadow of a 3D cube makes a 2D plane. A shadow of a 2D plane makes a 1D line. A shadow of a 1D line makes a 0D point. Now we build back up to 3D. Extrude a 0D point and we get a 1D line (number line). Extrude a 1D line and we get a 2D plane (paper). Extrude a 2D plane and we get a 3D cube. When you extrude (positionally) a 4D cube what do you get? You get an even bigger cube. This dimension goes outward and inward. This 4D cube is called a tesseract and follows all the rules of math when determining sides and faces in certain dimensions. Keep in mind this is a positional dimension with respect to spacial dimensions, not a time dimension. A time dimension assumes the existance of a timeline that continuously changes as the time goes from 0 to infinity. These timeline points (of any dimensional shape including 4D to 0D) are recorded and stored for all of eternity. The spiritual beings are outside of this timeline, which explains how fortune tellers, soothsayers, and prophets can foresee the future or past events when communing with these entities. What i dont know, is how space and time are related and if those space-time theories can be applied to work with or disprove this.
@atziluth51983 жыл бұрын
@Rapid Breast Reduction im not familiar with the term "phasic depth" but it sounds like an object with depth perception can "phase" in and out of a certain "phasic" reality which can only be seen by those in it and those of a higher "phasic" magnitude. Is this correct? Im thinking of the verse saying the angels descended and ascended. This would be by phasing in and out of this worlds "phasic magnitude". This "phasic" realm of stacked phasing planes in a linear progression could be considered the fourth dimension. Is that correct? That reminds me of the astral planes and the ascending and descending of these planes through raising and lowering vibrations. On top of that, maybe the timeline consisting of every object in every instance being recorded for every "phasic" plane. This would be 5D
@atziluth51983 жыл бұрын
@Rapid Breast Reduction i have also not been educated on fractals. I know what a basic fractal is, but not the fractal dimensions like in math. I have no clue how that relates. Maybe your saying the line has a dimension of width length and height, and these markers have their own dimension of length width and height, and then those markers have their own? Possibly because everything which exists in this dimension has to have a 3D aspect to it. But if you consider an integral, or selection of one point (0D POINT) to another, then you consider the dimension of everything to the left of that point and everything to the right of the other. There would be no markers, and no fractal either. Am i understanding your point of fractals correctly?

Let’s learn first to obey Him in what is revealed in His Word, because He is going to judge you not according to the things unknown, but known. Besides His ways and thoughts are waaaay higher than ours. Well said, "In the last days, there will be a great thirst for Kabbalah." For in the last days, people will search out all manner of mysticism and witchcraft. They will adorn themselves and their homes with idols hoping to receive for themselves peace and luck and financial prosperity and other such false blessings that lead men astray. They will chase after unclean spirits and vile abominations. They will pray to their idols and to their devils, and they will blaspheme the very name of God. Aren't these the same who accuse the prophets of sorcery? Aren't these the same that crucified Yeshua? There is one God. He does not hide in the darkness for he is the light. And there is one Righteous Judge who judges by the light of God. And these foolish mortals and their followers will share in one judgement, and they will all together burn. Repent ye, and turn back to God for the fruit is near to ripe, and the harvesters sharpen their scythes.

To give people new knowledge, you need to remember the works of Aaron (Exodus 32) "And Aaron said to them, «Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.» So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron." You can't put new knowledge in people's ears. First you need to remove the old knowledge from their ears. :)) Gold -silver in the Bible, this parable means spiritual wealth-knowledge, valuable information.

Is the end goal of kabbalah to reveal that Moses was less holy than us? That he is the source of our belief in sin? That he is interchangeable with the devil and one of the false prophets mentioned to Jeremiah?

Is there a condensed book of Kabbalah for the layperson? I don’t have a rabbi. I’m an isolated jew.

It is extremely important to try to get the words as close to the meaning as possible.

I cannot locate the phrase “in Abraham” referenced in my Chumash or in other Hebrew translations of Genesis 1. Did I misunderstand where it is located?
