You’re welcome. The first person to talk about test scores as a form of currency was of course Henry Latham in his 1877 book. Amazing that we had such piercing social critique long before the more recent critical approaches. It also reminds me of Sireci’s quip when asked why some students cheat (and I paraphrase) - “Why do criminals rob banks? It’s because that’s where the money is!” It’s a useful analogy in many ways when we’re thinking about the variety of social uses of test scores. Glad you enjoyed the talk!
