Hoping that I'll found here what I need to improve my Aeneid recitation in my own channel. I have already finished the 5 first books, but not sure if I'm doing right, especially with the non coincidence between ictus and accents 😅. Gratias vobis.

Gratias vobis ago! Valde mihi placet :) I think it would be very useful to adopt the approach that we often use in teaching grammar (e.g. when teaching English). We first let the student read texts (listen, sing etc) that contain the new grammar and only when they already know it intuitively we explain the rules. Maybe it would work with metrics - have at least a few well recited poems that are easy to understand by students (so they understand all vocabulary). The student can first listen to it, do some text comprehension exercises (to remember the poem better) and only after start learning about the metrics. That way the student feels the rhythm, pedes etc, they're not theoretical but they're rules that explain what the student has already observed. I would personally love this for myself.
