it is quite hard to calculate the number of atoms or molecules in an object, therefore we use the mole, think of it as saying 350 grands instead of three hundrend and fifty thousands

so mole is just a quantity and doesn't really have to be used in chemistry. I could say I have 1 mole of chicken nuggets which would be: 6.022 x 10^23 chicken nuggets, correct?
