I love your view on adventuring without having lots of money. It’s been a while but me and my buddies used to camp with a $10 hammock, some canned soup, and some bottles of water. The bugs absolutely destroyed us every time and we definitely got cold and wet but I reckon that’s what made them good adventures. I haven’t gone in a long time because I felt like I lacked all the cool camping and survival gear all the other KZbinrs said I needed to have. Thanks for reminding me all I need is water, food, shelter, and some good buddies.

I just found your videos on Instagram tonight. I'm young, 22. I've had some unfavourable last few months/years. Alcohol misuse heavily. hurting myself and causing the people I love pain and discomfort. I've been getting some actual help the last week with mental health and going to appointments for said misuse. Just done with being an asshole. I didn't even know you had those same issues when I saw ur reels (I just thought they were absolutely wholesome! Only found out once I found ur link to this yt vid now!) I LOVE nature and aspire to push myself to get back into walks, hikes and just existing for myself again. thankyou for being so kind and awesome. You're more relatable than you know. this has came at such a great time :) me and my housemate have been talking a lot about the lifestyle we're trying to live, and have come to many of the same conclusions about the shockingly low bar of entry to that life, so its incredibly reassuring to hear you confirm our conclusions (still hypothetical). your idea about adding good habits to bad ones is also something I very recently started applying to my own personal journey!
