Just a little tip on the curl route, if u face cover 0 press if u smart route the curl u don't see a change on the route but when u throw It u get more separation from the defender works on 1 & 10 pretty nice

Do you check the mike every pass play or just vs certain looks? Also I would be interested in how to use this against my opponent who I know is using ID the mike by only rushing 5 or even 4. Or taking advantage of hot throws with zone blitz droppers. Even if it's not possible in Madden.

You are forced to throw hot in situations where they are green dogging.

@Jarvis Austin Throwing hot is when you get rid of the ball before the free rusher gets to you. If your opponent is cover zeroing you...and you decide to block the back and get in 6 man protection....then you can pick everyone up. The problem comes when hedecides to green dog you...as in...whoever is man to man with the running back now blitzes because he sees that the back is blocking. Now it's 7 rushing the qb with only 6 blockers. You would have to throw hot before the 7th guy gets there. Who you throw to depends on your playcall.

Yes. In first example, the corner warped off. Madden supposedly fixed this to where corners and defenders with their head turned, cannot see the ball. So that first example would work even better now. Conceptually and theoretically . . . . yes everything is the same because concepts dont change.

@@XandoFootball I run Singleback doubles. The only reason I suspect it might be different is because when the back isn’t in sidecar he has a responsibility to both sides of the line in some situations
