I saw another tutorial of making a leaf by painting many layers onto it. It prompted me to search pmc tutorials. This is an absolutely fantastic tutorial! ❤ I'm only 35 minutes into it and will have to finish tomorrow but I love this and I'm so anxious to see the rest of it. Things like this make me wish I had a garage for a workshop! Thanks for being such a fabulous instructor. ❤👍😊

Excellent! Kate Richbourg, you are sooo amazing! This is one of the best instructional videos I have ever seen on KZbin! Very well done! And now I see that I have a few more things to order, and a few other things to scrounge up for my work table. You probably saved me countless hours of mistakes and frustrations. I am sure there will be enough of those along the way anyway, without adding ignorance to the mix. Thank you so much for doing this!

That's amazing. I had sort of poopood clay. I thought "what kind of nonsense is this? This isn't smithing! Where's the hammering, sawing and soldering? Bah! Humbug!" Now that I've seen the firing process, I think I'll have to give it a try. I'm very impressed! Have worked with clay and quite enjoyed it.

Thanks for the informative video. Question. You hand mentioned that there is at ~12% shrinkage in the firing. When placing a stone, does bezel not crack in the firing process as the stone doesn't shring, but the PMC will? Do you know if shells pieces or pearls can be fired in with them or should be placed in after? Thanks
@beaducation
@beaducation 8 жыл бұрын
+Debbie McLeod Hello! These are great questions! the answers to your questions all depend on the melting temps of all the materials involved. You'll need to do some research to figure that part out. We do know that natural elements such as shell and piece will burn during the firing process. Have a great day!
