Great class. You are a great, patient teacher but not so slow that I get impatient or bored. Thank you!

Can you use a sterling silver crimp tube instead of buying tubing?
@beaducation10 жыл бұрын
Hi, We do not recommend crimp beads. They are not designed for riveting. The walls on the crimps are too soft and not thick enough. You can however use rivets or a tool to rivet eyelets. Click here to check out our riveting supplies. www.beaducation.com/shop/riveting-tools-supplies-c-276.html

Why is it necessary to continue "tap & turn" when switching to broad head side of hammer?
@beaducation10 жыл бұрын
Hi Melissa, I think Kate is just making sure that the flaring is even all the way around. But, of course do what ever works for you! Thank you!

Also, if you know you're starting with a flush cut on your wire...why can't you start the riveting WITH the broad head side?
@beaducation10 жыл бұрын
Hi Melissa, You need to use the chisel end of the riveting hammer to begin the flaring of the metal before you flip to the other end of the hammer. But, there are a million ways to rivet, and you may find that you have a technique that works best for you. Good luck! and thank you!
