I never quite know how to picture shear force and your explanation was simply amazing: "the strength of the glue you would need between the elements." Thank you so much for these fantastic videos! (Engineer revisiting school again)

thanks for the video! it's super clear. one thing i don't understand is why is shear flow highest at the neutral axis then? wouldn't dF be 0?

@2:26 why the right moment and shear force isn't equal the left ? why you added (dV) for the shear and (dM) for the moment

I hope the test went well. By the way, you can control the playback speed in the video controls. I like watching educational videos at 1.5x...it makes me feel like neo in the matrix when all the fighting skills get uploaded to his brain...oooohhh I should do that for basketball.
