I must apologize that in narrating this first video...I forgot some critical information when discussing the propeller. An additional reason for choosing this prop is the deep chord to the blades. The thrust produced was measured at just under 1300 pounds and performs as would be expected.

Beautiful! I have a few more pennies to save up to order my kit and I think I have got to go with this power plant! Please do a video on what kind of performance you are getting on calm days (no screaming headwind for STOL) as well as some videos on exactly which components get replaced and how with your fuselage upgrades. Also, does the engine take MoGas or AvGas? And roughly what cruise speeds are you getting at what fuel flow rates?

Thank you Dominick. Once the weather settles down and leaves a long winter behind, we have a number of videos planned to demonstrate some real world performance. At this point 170mph TAS is very realistic, and I am expecting some further testing at greater power settings to push it another 5-10 mph if so desired. A very comfortable cruise at 155 mph gives a fuel burn of 15 gph, The engine is happy on either MoGas or 100 LL. Stay tuned and thanks for your interest!

The main "skinny gear legs" looks like the weak part.The fuel sds gauge and fuel pressure is "critical" but is too far away from the the pilots scan.

It's the red next to the throttle. He didn't have a blue. The mixture control is programed into the engine computer, so it only has a tiny knob to the right of the prop for very fine adjustments if desired. See 7:40
