We love the FB107 and ROC800 series, my co has deployed 1,000's of them over the years. We're avoiding FB3000 like the plague because our SCADA platform doesn't support DNP3 tunneling.

i work at a utility company and IT only wants to use Class 0 every 4 seconds. i don't have an argument as to why they should use event scans. they basically want plug an play. no knowledge needed

If there's unlimited bandwidth available (or only small amount of data points) then doing continual Class 0 polls isn't a huge issue. However, it's really a very ineffiicent use of network resources. If you have a large number of field devices it may indirectly lead to the need to upgrade the network bandwith, leading to additional costs.
