"Matthew 22:17" Relevance? "Exodus 12" What do you believe "Paschal" means? "Pascha," "Pesach," Passover. Easter is the Passover of the Christ: 1 Cor 5:7, Rev 5:6-12, John 1:29. The English word for Easter may have come from anything, but the tradition predates even Old English by centuries. And why would the origin of a word matter when it's lost all semblance of that meaning? Not even other languages use "Easter," they use "Pascha." 1 Cor 15:14. The Resurrection is the ultimate completion of Passover. "1 Timothy 3:2" 1 Cor 7:8-9, 7:27-35, 7:38, Matt 19:11-12. Celibacy is not "forced," it's a dedicational vow. What about vowing is "forced?" The same can be said for giving up worldly possessions (Luke 12:33, Matt 19:21). Besides, when it comes to marriage, check out Eastern Rite Catholicism. "Matthew 6:7" Two verses later: Matt 6:9-14. So what is The Lord's Prayer? What are the Psalms? Isaiah 6:1-3, Revelation 4:8. These angels repeated the same prayer for ~800 years. Mark 14:32-39. Jesus went and repeated his prayer in Gethsemane for hours. The Rosary is the opposite of vain repetition; it is to meditate. So, yes, we do not ponder on each Hail Mary, but we ponder on each Mystery as we pray. "James 5:14 and Exodus 40:9" Lev 14:6-7, Ezk 36:25, Num 19:17-19. Water symbolizes purification throughout Scripture.

Important messages were given, for example, "grasping the creation instead of the creator", God has a plan for us that is full of sheer goodness, God's sacrifice as a human in future (Jesus), the lies of the Devil, and more. I completed the BIAYP last year and I just want to say that at first I thought the way it's going to be read is a bit crazy! Looking at the reading plan it seemed all over the place. But it works! Fr Mike, I have started with you today on 1 Jan 2023. I agree that God is doing something in my heart and God is seeking me. He keeps reminding me that He loves me as He has always done, but I am struggling with making a huge mistake and lost my way after decades of walking with God. I am broken emotionally. I started reading my Bible again as felt if I had been reading my Bible as I use to I would never have made a bad decision whilst anxious and depressed, but I am struggling to concentrate and feel lost. I hope this will take the struggle off me. I tried to start at the beggining and got to the place in the Old Testament where all the names are of who was who and who begat who and thought 'Lord, you got to be kidding me' and went back to the New Testament to start there again as I always did. I am not going to do anything perfectly as know I am inclined to be a perfectionist and know it is just too hard to keep that up anymore but please God I will persevere. Thank you for this. Please Lord help Fr Mike. Amen. xx

I finished yesterday and have started over today. I highly recommend that you watch Fr. Mike's other podcasts on KZbin. Countless times I have heard him say that God loves you as you are, not for any potential you have, or as the result of anything you have done. Highly recommend you listen to BIAY almost all the way thru, after you get comfortable with Fr. Mike’s routine by all means get the BIAY NOTEBOOK for your notes. This is my 3rd time for me. Be persistent and patient with yourself you will surprise yourself.
