Nice video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Millawdon Dessert Allowed Trick (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind product for exterminating your sleep apnea or snoring minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy after many years got astronomical results with it.

Comfortable? None of the sensors are painful or difficult to wear? Bullshit! I have SEVERE sensory integration disorder and I couldn't tolerate all that stuff on me, let alone fall asleep in it.

@XxCloooooxX well if you have sleep apnea usually your so tired you can sleep with all the crap sleep centers put on you, I found the 3 cameras to me the most intrusive thing.

I'm heading in for my sleep study next week. I've been reading many of the comments on here with great interest. The various attitudes are astounding. Sleep apnea is absolutely nothing to mess with. If you have it, you need to find it out. I'm discovering that many health issues I've had may have been either caused or worsened by sleep apnea. I have most of the symptoms, yet I would never have put it together. My doctor may have literally saved my life. Don't want cpap, but will adjust to live.

Also, I think the tech will probably let you try a CPAP machine before you go to sleep in case they find you have Sleep Apnea. I was relieved the Tech let me try it for about 5 minutes before I went to sleep so I knew what to expect if he woke me in the middle of the night to wear it. I actually kind of enjoyed being able to breath and sleep for once at night. The tech said he was sure I have Sleep Apnea but the DR must be the one to make the final decision.

I'm waiting for the hospital to get back to me about when I should do this test.. my worry is, what if I won't fall asleep? will they give me another test or dismiss it as insomnia? I can't deal with the stress and frustration anymore.. I really want to fix this issue.

My late father had severe sleep apnea and sometimes when he woke up he experienced some kind of temporary memory loss in which he would not remember his family. It usually took him a good ten minutes of looking at the calendar and making breakfast until he gained his memory back. Just out of interest - does anyone here have this kind of experiences? There's apparently some connection between apnea and for example Alzheimer's but I couldn't find anything similar.

Today I saw a sleep study specialist. He told me similarly what this video has stated. I find it difficult to sleep at the best of times, let alone 'knowing' I am being monitored! Having said that, I am willing to go through it all in few weeks. I can't live like a zombie anymore....always tired.....always hearing myself snore, always scaring the cat and the dog....poor things, need a quiet place to sleep! LOL!

To help you prevent snoring you should change the position in which you sleep. When you sleep on your back it is said to cause people to snore. So switching positions can reduce or eliminate snoring. Instead of sleeping on your back, try sleeping on your side or stomach to prevent you from snoring.

A little daunting. They weren't there for me to park my car and it was late. Knocked on the building door, which was locked, and luckily someone let me in that was working late on the first floor. I sat there and continued calling the office with only answering system. Finally about 15 minutes later someone called me and came down to get me. Not the most friendly either. Go up and he shows me my room with no tv, like the video says. Asked if I need the facilities and of course I needed to brush my teeth and change into my nightwear. duh. Came back and he said he didn't think the computer was working so give him a bit. I did and it finally worked and he hooked me up then asked if I had filled out the paperwork which was never sent to me. Since I hadn't I sat there in my PJ's and barefoot. He started placing all the glue and electrodes on. I laid in my temp bed. He said if I had to use the facilities in the middle of the night, just sit up and he would come in to unplug me. I couldn't move being afraid the electrodes. from my head to my knees, would fall off. Since I am use to falling asleep to TV I finally drifted off. Waking at 4am, as usual, feeling the urge, sat up and he came right in. Walking thru the halls like a zombie I laid back down and told him a few had come off to which he replied, don't worry your study is almost over. Fell back to sleep, again not being able to turn on my side as I usually sleep. Was woken at 6am, unplugged, but with lots of glue in my hair and body, went home and showered. Now for results.

Know your insurance coverage/DME/referrals/deductibles. BUY DIRECT local or online DME suppliers. They can and will provide service, support & replacement parts. Let the Sleep Center provide your doctor/physician, they STILL CAN read your equipment & get the data needed. Make CERTAIN you can use products from different manufacturers. A CPAP machine from ResMed, mask / headgear from Resprionics - or whatever combination fits YOU best. Not what is best for their bottom line and their convenience.

my doctor tells me i need a sleep study extremely bad, he thinks i have sleep apnea, RLS, and something else about psychiatric issues but because i dont have insurance i cant afford it. i cant go to sleep unless im in boxers, i have to sleep on my stomach then put pillows under my head until im streched back so far it hurts, and then i kick and shake and wake up like 3-5 times a night, have constant nightmares, and wake up often with arms or legs asleep. YAY american healthcare..

I went last night, I recommend you to contact your Doctor and ask for a 10Mg Ambien just in caseyou can't fall asleep. I fell asleep in less than 15 minutes at 9:30 pm. The Tech woke me up 1:30AM and put the CPAP on me and than I woke up at 5:00AM an was free to go. I will goback to buy a Machine later this Week after thr DR. reads my results.

Is there a certain age range for this? I'm 14 in 2 months, and my sleeping is horrible. I can barely walk a few paces without being out of breath. I take hours to fall asleep, and wake up only a few hours later, then I rarely fall asleep again. I feel tired when I wake up, and my energy levels go downhill rapidly. I want to go to bed by 5 or 6 in the afternoon, go bed at 9-10 (medicinal reasons), fall asleep hours later. I tend to wake up between 4 and 6 in the morning. Occasionally earlier.
