A nice set of Rostyle wheels ya got there Jason. 😊👍🏻

Thanks! They were actually pretty crusty, I had to grind them down with a wire wheel, and then I primered the inside before having the new set of tires put on them. I’ll primer and paint the outside later.

@@DownSouthRustyClassics At one time, every new sporty car had Rostyles here in the UK. Not many of us could afford alloys. 😁

For me the nicest Rostyle wheels Rubery Owen ever produced were the chrome and black mk1's used for the 1600E Cortina, those plain slim five spoke things on the P5 Rover 3500 coupes were meant to look restrained to fit in with Rovers middle class image but to me just looked a bit weedy and like they were missing something , and those multiple square holed things fitted to Spridgets in my mind are an eyesore and dont even get me started on the 4 kidney holed things fitted to some mk 1 Capris, man they were ugly back then and still are today, this of course is simply my own personal opinion as someone who lived and worked among them back in the day, other people obviously love them, and to each their own I say, but for me it HAS to be the mk 1 original that takes the crown.

As an Englishman, i'm loving your British car collection. The GT6 is still one of my favourate cars. Good luck with your channel, I''ve liked and subscribed...

Thanks! The GT6 is my favorite as well! I really want to get moving on it but it needs a complete restoration.

Yes!! I can’t wait to start in on it! Going to do a full restoration on it so it’s going to take time.

Greetings, Jason, from a fellow enthusiast in the UK. I am so pleased you have so many classic British sports and other sporting cars. I hope you will be able to restore as many as you can. I am fascinated, in particular, with your 1958 Sunbeam Rapier Mark 2 convertible. These are very rare over here as well and appear very infrequently even at classic car meets. I'll be watching all your videos from now on, but I'll be looking out in particular for progress on the Sunbeam Rapier. For producing the video, you'll be needing more microphones to minimise wind noise and so we can hear the voices clearly of your two sons; maybe also an additional camera/cameras for difficult angles. Welcome to the KZbin classic car enthusiasts' family!

Thanks! Yes, we’ve been working on getting those things now. We now have a wireless microphone and have started using multiple camera angles with additional iPhones and a GoPro. I really like the Sunbeam rapier as well! We will definitely be doing a will it run video on it at some point hopefully in the not too distant future, But I am not sure I will be doing a full restoration on it yet or selling it to someone that will. The bottom side of the car is in terrible shape from having sat for 47 years. Thanks again! Hope to be getting episode two of the work on the MGB GT out there very soon.

It’s is pretty funny how on the MGB Roadster, the bumper looks like a beard, the grill is a mouth, and the headlights are the eyes.

@BigCar has a great video on the MGB. Lemme see if I can find a link…

i HAD A SPITFIRE once, and a guy welded it, very poorly, he then doubled the estimate, and when i said it was too much, given his estimate, he threatened to smash my knees.
