How old were your daughters at placement and what is the age gap between them? We have three birth children and are looking at adoption in the near future. :)

Hi. My oldest girl was 2 years and 3 months. My youngest was 21 months. There is just under 5 years between them. Please feel free to ask questions as I love to connect with others. How old are your children? 😀

Hi :) Great ages! My eldest son is almost 8, my daughter is almost 6 and my youngest son is almost 3. We are fact finding and reading everything we can atm, with the hope of starting the process when our youngest is 5-6 years old as we'd like a gap of at least 3 years between him and the new sibling. :) Any recommended reading that you've found useful? We already try to parent therapeutically as our eldest two are autistic. :) xx

We found a book called 'the primal wound' understanding the needs of an adopted child very good reading. 😀
