I know that video. I have seen it. But just because you go through an training once does not mean that they are experts. I have also seen a bunch of their other videos where they go outdoors and they always have guides. They are tough but do not seem to have a bunch of the primitive skills needed to survive on their own for a week. They could do it if they already had camping supplies or a guide, but I do not know if they could filter the water or start a fire out of scratch with zero tools. I mean who knows what they can do but it seems pretty dangerous to do without experience. Maybe they can bring a survival expert or have some of the basic tools like a water filter and fire starter. But I like the idea a lot

Alon G Many different types of risks. I've put myself out there during school, public events, and joined more extracurricular activities. Over all I've been much more outgoing and confident than I used to. I took a risk and told a friend of 9 years how I felt about him, and now our relationship is going very well. Going out of my comfort zone used to be really hard with my anxiety, but now that I've been working on it and seeking discomfort, I've over come so many barriers that were stopping me from being the person that I always wanted to be. Little things like asking for extra packets of ketchup led to me making speeches infront of the school. I've worked my way up and the results of the risks are very promising.

hey boys. i have a crazy idea for you. there is an up-and-coming youtuber named Molly Burke who put out a request to go skydiving with someone, as she already tried indoor skydiving and loved it. the only thing is: she's blind. I thought you could take her on a classic Yes Theory adventure, and add your own fling to it, as you always do. she is an amazing and inspiring person, and i know she would be down for almost anything. happy flying.

Hi Thomas, My buddy and me will travel to Prague this March after finishing our exams. We are both rather introverts than extroverts so this video has inspired us to Seek Discomfort on this trip. We do have limited time and budget but are confident to try it out. If Yes Theory or any of ya'll Commenters have an idea what we could/should do in Prague to challenge ourself, write a comment and let us know. This will be the first time for us to do something like that but thats were everybody starts right? I i genuinely enjoy all your videos and since I came across your channel I am interested to give it a try. By Chance I found out that my buddy is also watching your videos so I asked him and he just had to say YES. Please give us some Ideas on what to do!

Can you do videos like this where your female friends have to do this or any kind of reliant on strangers video. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't help but think we'd feel more vulnerable or find this more scary but it would be so cool to see a women manage something like this. Maybe I haven't been looking in the right places or hard enough but I feel like I never see women do these challenges. Thank you. Love what you do
@Amphanotes6 жыл бұрын
Idk im afraid someone would take it the wrong way if she asked to sleep at someones place. But would be interesting as long as it does not go the wrong way :O
@gracem63746 жыл бұрын
I agree! I think it would be totally different with a girl
@kimberlyormesher34946 жыл бұрын
Mr. Danners I get that but not everyone is bad and the more girls get told that we can't do these things by our peers and parents simply because we're girls, the more it instills that kind of fear. There are girls all around the world who defy those challenges. It can and should be done more.
@kimberlyormesher34946 жыл бұрын
Dhanush Tatineni the key phrase here being rapists and not women's weakness because that's a massive generalisation and it's the idea that we can easily be over powered or can't fight back which causes poor treatment to women and puts us in these positions
@Amphanotes6 жыл бұрын
Dhanush Tatineni chill out bro. Some feminists are bad this is not the case here. Also sorry Kimberly i did not mean to generalise but men are more likely to take advantage of those situations. It's a fun idea but there is a risk, no one can deny that. It is not too common for a girl to ask to stay a night to some guy it's not likely that it could go wrong but i think more men would see that as asking for you know what compared to a man asking it. It's just important to know there is a bigger risk, which there is

These guys are my favorite and I have been watching you all for a while now, but this series in particular makes me feel uneasy while really inspired. A great adventure usually comes out of it, but I cannot help but think of all of the actual poor and homeless people in the city who could have used that assistance. Don’t get me wrong I love the video, just that thought always goes through my head. Maybe you guys could do a video about homelessness in LA in the future and how to best help them. You guys highlighted the struggles of it in this video so I think you all could do some good with it. You guys are always an inspiration

Agreed. I said in the last 24 hour challenge I watched, they most a party, would be really nice to see them do a soup kitchen in 24 horus or something with a humanitarian twist.
@TheFunnyCamGuy6 жыл бұрын
The homeless in LA is really really bad. Ever been to skid row? Pictures and videos just don't do it justice. It literally broke my heart to see about 100 people just on one block and one side of the street. It stretches 40 blocks and is located right outside of downtown LA. The estimated population is around 10k homeless there i believe. Its really sickening that a huge city with plenty of money would let that happen.

Omg i can nothing but respect you, I relate to all of the anxiety. I’ve been an introvert all my life, and to do something that puts you out there like that is exhausting and frightening for me. I respect you for talking about it so open and how your fears affect your life. I agree with everything, staying inside, seeking away from people or just not talking or enjoying what others normally would. Thank you, it means a lot!

Can they make a 24 hour where when they ask people they can't mention that they are from yes theory or that their friends challenged them I feel like that makes it easy basically what I'm saying is almost like being a homeless person with a camera because when they say they are from yes they or friends challenged them they will immediately get treated differently

Honestly i think the challenge is more about getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things rather than making the person who is asking suffer. Imagine if you had to do the challenge, if you just walked up to some people and asked for free things you would get turned down.

I'm an introvert, but contrary to a popular belief I am not shy. You see introversion is based on how you recharge/gain your energy, and not a disorder in which you aren't capable to talk to strangers. I require a lot of time to myself after a social outing since people drain me. I also appreciate people who don't like to waste hours of their day on small talk, and would rather have meaningful conversations. We are all different, and yet we are all the same. ❤

Y'all tryna kill Tiddy. Which, by the way, TIddy has zero survival skills if he's drinking beer after having one scorpion for dinner and doesn't have a place to stay yet. Can you imagine a drunk Tiddy sleeping on the sidewalk in Thailand? I'm so glad everything worked out in the end though haha. We love you Tiddy, you did it!!!

I bet this video did so much for him mentally, as an introvert i've had a few nights with alchohol that ended me into these same situations almost, just not as random or strangery. I remember meeting a group of cool people at a club and went back to their house after and the 10 of us had a mini party, reminded me of the people who let you in to sleep

Idk if everyone else noticed this (and I’m two years late) but the attention to detail in the editing is impeccable! In the montage at 9:40 the little yell he did was perfectly matched to the music. Every single bit was considered in this video!
