My mother was born in 1911..and later became became a nurse midwife ..graduating from the Frontier Nursing School. She rode horseback to rural Kentucky to deliver babies..educate mothers..etc..She then took a leap of faith ..and went on board ship in 1930 to Africa. Ended up working in S. Sudan as a nurse/midwife. ..her memories were amazing ..loved Kentucky!

I have to adjust, I’ve been spoiled my entire life, not until very recently, there was at the very least the perception of the rule of law in the US. At a very early age I got to travel to different places, one of those places was Cuba and it was shocking to me how I had more freedom than its citizens. I am happy for El Salvador. I don’t want to end my comment by adding a slur remark, but I understand that based on where it was, this is decades of improvement, but please keep an eye on this man. I would go as far as perhaps saying that he did what he had to to impact change, he used the notorious fail fast model used in tech but be careful what you give up, because once it’s gone, many lives could be lost to get it back. I've been working in Nursing homes for decades, and it has gotten worst because of the community that now owns them. They only care about money, the staff doesn't care as much as people use to and the type of residents aren't elderly. They're20 and older and that mix of ages makes it worst to witness. The nursing homes with $$$ are the old ways. 26 yrs doing this and next October I'm done.

great video but please always wear a dust mask atleast entering the abandon homes. the mold and humid mildew can crystalize on your lungs like it did mine! you can never get rid of this never heal my lungs are coated with tiny crystals completely covered! you can still prevent it by wearing a mask. i was never told this could happen to me or i would have taken precautions. your health is the most important thing here you cant spend the money you make if you are unable to walk or breath! above all keep yourself safe and healthy! and tell the girl she has a amazing voice America needs to hear right now! so full of soul. wonderful to hear!

beautiful video. we have to appreciate our elders. my parents are in their 70s and i hope they are around for a long time with us, and also to share their stories to their grandchildren and spend quality time with them. my mother in law passed away suddenly in may aged only 56 and i am heartbroken she didn't get to meet her grandson, my son, who was born in august. she already had her ticket to come visit us in austria, flying in from mexico. instead we made the trip to mexico with the kids for dia de muertos a few weeks ago to spend with the extended family. it has been a difficult year, mixed with immense joy and sadness. the lesson is that we need to cherish our elders, and i cannot wait to see the next episode. and also to see may parents again in december when they return from their trip to mexico. thank you for sharing this video. it made my day.
