For us thinkers the realization that rationale is different from logic in that rationale is about what makes sense based on what's desired but logic is true false. Humans are innately rationale but illogical. We as ti lead individuals however are motivated by our discomfort with cognitive dissonance and as such we tend to be much more logical than rationale.

That’s going to depend… Either is fine. There may be a LITTLE more desire for electrical simply because it is INFINITELY easier than mechanical work. The Ti user may want more time for their other ideas - so, just learning 110, 220, 440; ground and hot, a few equations, volts/amperes, etc. basic connecting the dots with insulated copper, etc… knowing your tools and being able to improvise - being very aware of your surroundings… being able to make good measurements; and for obvious safety reasons… for PRACTICAL work, these things are extremely simple… the problem solving can rarely be a real challenge; but the ISTP might not be bored with that - Ni-child may provide fun insights and personal “goals” while doing that basic work…. Of course, this is house-wiring; there’s all kinds of stuff to learn. But it’s all really “intuitive” for any thinker - it is more about the safety than anything. Mechanical, from a practical standpoint, is more intensive, especially when it comes to rote knowledge, if you are going to communicate. The mechanical aspects won’t be hard to conceptualize, especially for the INTP who will be coming at it from many angles (the same could be said for designing electrical frameworks if the person is going for something more innovative or grand scale and less common or practical)… But you don’t need to know the name of every part to comprehend what’s going on. And there is cross-over, anyway. You’re going to find a LOT of copper in machines, no matter how mechanical, for electric motors, sensors, etc… If you’re thinking vehicles, it’s all basic. It’s not NEARLY as complicated as it is made to seem. Seriously, surgery is another option. Body parts are far more straightforward than they are made to seem. There is a LOT of extremely deep knowledge that we’re still learning, especially for innovation…. But, for the most part, what IS known is just kind of common sense once you do anything for a while. I’m nodding off, so I hope I didn’t just fail making sense… Bottom line: your choice regarding electrical or mechanical depends on your passion or dream or enjoyment… If innovation is the game, then LEARN BOTH. If practicality, for a job is the question; you’re going to need to learn electrical to deal with modern vehicles and the like anyway… Unsurprisingly, you can have more freedom and make more money doing the much easier but less safe job of being an electrician. You can still make great money, but your time will be wrapped up in mechanics if you go that route - UNLESS you have a mechanical innovation in mind or machines are a passion project for you… but it’s not AS liberal as the electrician stuff… That’s my take. It’s too boring for me, though, which is why I just prefer to do all the work for myself, but I prefer to start my businesses and be more creative. It’s really boring and too mentally easy, USUALLY. There are times where it is like “Well, I ONLY have these things, but I NEED that done…”. Then, I get to be clever. That’s always nice. But it doesn’t last long. And it can be stressful when keeping your hands above your head for ungodly amounts of time with an injured neck… and dealing with others’ work which is almost invariably wrong or inefficient…

Fascinating, thank you. I'm never gonna really develop my Ti as an ENFP, but this helps me understand my INTP brother. His Ti dominates his communication style and therefore he always seems cold to me, not so much because of his use of logic itself but because his Fe is pretty much turned off when he's talking. I feel he's like a machine sometimes. Just fact-checking all the time in every freaking conversation. Just relaying this information to me of which I can't understand the derivatory mechanisms at all as a feeler. He makes less than no sense to me because I seek to understand people on a feeling level but it's impossible for me to connect with him that way. The sum of him being an introvert with Ti-dom makes it so that Fe is definitely a blind spot. So that's not where I'm gonna be able to understand him. But this video helps a lot in that. I do love the fact that his Ti has made me go out of my way to research it, leading to a deeper fascination of my brother as a person and a newfound appreciation of Ti in general. It helps to know that he in fact has this rich Ti-dom world and I'd like to learn more about Ti. Cheers :)

Just to clarify - 'Cogito ergo sum' is more "I think therefore I am," Jung uses "Cogito, ergo Cogito" in his chapter which is more 'I think, therefore I think." also T is actually 20th haHAA

This is very accurate (spoken a real Ti dom ;)). I also like how you show how much value there is in other functions which Ti doms don't have. It was really a game changer to embrace other functions and learn from them instead of Ti-ing and Ne-ing everything. Thanks for the video.

for about the past year of me looking into MBTI I resented with all the types but no specific type, if that makes sense. People who have tried to type me have also said that I am the first person they have seen that does not have a type , because I’ll my functions are equal. On one cognitive function test I got around 50 % for every cognitive function. In the link are a few photos of cognitive function tests I’ve taken. www.dropbox.com/sh/p6sr8io6rrp93y8/AAB4MAsfRgJHRhluY0UH2u52a?dl=0

There is also an idea I heard somewhere that ISFJs are the “most balanced” type… not sure how that’s possible because it’s a TYPE, but apparently a number of people who are hard to type turn out to be ISFJ. The source is a comment somewhere in the KZbin aether. Maybe something to toy around with there?

But, I also have a hypothesis that Ni-doms or heavy Ni-users (INTJ, INFJ; ENFJ and ENTJ AND INTP and INFP ((because of strength of 6th/critic function in all types)) AND ENTP and ENFP ((Nemesis is the challenger of the dominant function and iron sharpens iron…))) have better access to the unconscious (according to Jung, Ni is going INTO the unconscious for information), therefore, I think that their shadow functions will be well developed in comparison to other types. That’s probably a better route to chase.

I don't think Ti is subjective. It comes from what is true or false. You can't decide whether something is true or not. E.g. If I drop an apple from a window it will always fall to the ground. Ti discovers truth, it doesn't create it.
