Definitely one of those killer moments. You bet everything on Black, and it turns up Red. Even with tips like "Don't ask questions that can end in a Yes or a No answer", stuff like "Hey, you're looking really sad at the phone, what's going on?" it can still be just as killed, and after such a rough start, it really feels like a good idea to just not try again.

Only about a half dozen people were there and it only lasted a couple hours. The third one was this 4th of July, and I just did the same thing I did at the other two. I had a couple bites to eat, stood around while everyone else was drinking and having fun, then left after everyone else had already trickled out. People claim they like me at work, then rarely, if ever, invite me anywhere, and even when I am, I don't contribute anything socially. It would be nice to be invited out more, but on the other hand, it's not even worth it because I'm so boring.

The message of "trying" is something I've been following for at least a year now. What I understand is that sometimes it just does not matter how much you try or how much you seek; it's just not going to happen, at least not in the time you want it to. And that's sucks. I hate it. Just "want" things is not enough-where you were born, what city you are in, how old are you, what kind of friends you have, have so many friends or acquaintances you have, are you pretty or not, are you a talkative person or not, and many, many other "ors" matters and simply shape the way of everything around you. In all, sometimes you just have to be ridiculously lucky to have or gain some of it.

Sometimes it really feels like this in a friend group, there is always one person who has it great, then things really start to improve for me, and it's as if I drain the karma from everyone else, but I think it's just a matter of living the high and then spending time with others who are not so high up.

Yesterday I went to a student club/pub on my own because I have just arrived to study abroad. I thought there would be more new students who just want to meet someone new but everyone else was in groups. It was so awkward to be there by myself.

The worse thing is to be a wounded extrovert, once open and happy to meet new people...but after many bad receptions you become an introvert. But your friends already know that inviting you will always cause some laugh and not exactly the laugh you would want...so they keep inviting you, pushing you to the point that you get rid of them and end up all alone.

this perfectly captures the vibe of a normie party, and how difficult it is to know how to add value to the conversation... the last party I've been to a guy had gone on vacation to Germany and so was explaining how people think the east/west Berlin divide during the cold war was part of a continuous frontier between the two countries (east/west germany) but in actuality west Berlin was entirely surrounded by East Germany (enclave) and it had to be constantly air-supplied and supported by the West etc. Nobody cared much for his history lesson, and I already knew all of this but pretended interest anyway to make him feel good for telling it. I guess to move on from there one could make some communism/capitalism jokes, and push the topic towards his other travel experiences in Germany which people may find more interesting than history, or make some reference to the Heroes song by David Bowie which allegedly was written about it, but ultimately the extroverts/sanguines/normies ended up changing topics altogether. I find it fascinating the way normies interact and chat seemingly about nothing and can keep the conversation going so easily, I wish I knew how to do that, it would make it so much easier to participate in social events

This video was pretty inspiring for me. Ive been tired of feeling bad about myself lately. This video came to me on day 7 of no alcohol and weed, they've been setting me back so much in life. This year ive been going thru like an ounce of weed a week and 50$ of alcohol on the weekends and the reality of a year wasted hit me hard. But now I already notice things like getting better deeper sleep, getting dreams back, feeling a little more light and limber, dont feel that sluggish high blood pressure feeling. Its been a long time since ive felt proud of myself for something. And now im trying to think of other ways to improve my physical health like gym membership. My main message I'm trying to say is that it is not possible for a person to move forward if theyre holding their self back.

Anytime I made the first move I got rejected. It happened probably 200 times over the years. No point to even try anymore. No first move = no reject = less pain. Simple mathematics. If you don't attract women like I do don't bother wasting time on them.

@@Ricardo__Milos its just so ironic how love is not enough, how effort is not enough. There's a million reasons for which they just do not love you the same way you do, they always just crave for more and more, they cant just have enough with what you give them. And they can do that al just because of our damn biology, they are pretty and we want them more than they want us. God, its just so unfair to want someone so bad and that they just never reciprocate that. And I make the effort, I really do. But sometimes, I simply can't anymore. Sometimes I just want my compensation, my woman, my love. Sorry for venting here outta nowhere. But I had to, and I guess its a good enough place to do it...
