Me too. Although I hate sensors most of the time, but sometimes I find myself amazed of their vast information and facts, very detailed too. But that's only so much u can get from facts, and it's useless if use them to connect all the dots and bring out a conclusion, or pattern, or see what lies beyond what we see or hear, or know of.

I was just thinking it's interesting how it takes time for both the intuitive and sensing types to find that middle ground in your pyramid, but right now the news cycle is going at the speed of light and neither side has time to process the crazy amount of non-stop information, which I think is a factor in the continuous heated arguments that seem to be all over the place. Too much information, too fast, results in chaos it seems.

Fantastic point, the frequency of new information in the technological world creates a divide that wouldn't likely be there if people had time to sit down and discuss each problem as it arose before having to worry about the next.

I'm an Intp and even I can have a difficult time completely understanding intuitive-dominant types. I think that the difference between ne and ni is also very important. I think of Ne as being very thematic and Ni, which is hard for me to understand, is instinctual. SPs seem more reactive and less instinctual whereas NJs are more instinctual than reactive. I think this is why you have so many NJs in leadership positions especially the Entj.

(This comment isnt video related) Lately Ive been wondering about the connection of MBTI and Horoscope and would like to hear others' opinions as well. Im an INTJ (of course) and my sign is Aquarius. When I looked into the characteristics of both, ive found that they are reaaally similar to one and other. Traits in common - Intelectual, analytical, independent, confident, open-minded, hardworking, determined, decisive, aloof, original, discards emotions, uncompromising, hates rules/limitations...just to name a few. My hypothesis is that either, they are connected or synergistic. Lemme explain. If they are in fact connected, maybe Im born as an Aquarius and as I grow up these traits kinda shape me into an INTJ. OR they are synergistic which would mean that they are not connected and Im just a sum total of the traits of the Aquarius and the INTJ. If that was the case, it would make me some kind of super Aquarius/INTJ (not in an arrogant way) beacuse of the similarity of the traits. This makes more sense because not every INTJ is an Aquarius...I think lol. Please let me know what you guys think of the connection of MBTI and the Zodiac, id love to know what you think about it! Last but not least I want to shoutout the one and only Asura for the fabulous videos and for creating a community of awesome INTJs where we can all feel understood. Thank you.

Your horoscope sign is basically period between the months you were born. My guess would be that your cognitive type is formed in last stage of pregnancy. So environmental conditions such as weather could have impact on how pregnancy goes on. I bet there is some correlation between types and months they were born in same climate.

I too have wondered about this. I am an ISTP in MBTI and a cancer in the horoscope system. The good part about being cancerous is that it gives you license to troll, hurr hurr :D Anyway when i try to read about this there are so many conflicting ideas but from my understanding cancer seems to correspond to an INFP personality which is very different from an ISTP. I think i am extremely sensitive for an ISTP but i have had to deal with trauma so maybe that is why. Or maybe the horoscope acts as a synergist to my MBTI personality(If you are cancer you are supposed to be very sensitive.). Sure is an interesting idea.

Communication... yes and that’s sad when I think to it. It’s just crazy to know we don’t really talk the same language depending on our type, just because we see the world differently. Me INFJ, brother INTP, mother ESFJ, father was ISTJ. I understand all, but no one of them understand me. I think if all people knew MBTI deeply, the relation between people, parents-children would be really better. It could be good to avoid to be misunderstood, during all the life and childhood.

Good video! It makes sense that there will be bias in the online typing community against sensors since most people there seem to be intuitive. Also, Intuitive types are most definitely being met with bias from sensors in the real world so i can understand the need to get back because of this. It would be great though if we could learn more from each other instead because we need each other. Especially now since many people seem to lead quite empty lives devoid of meaning. I think intuitive people can teach sensors a lot in that regard. Unfortunately i think most sensors will need to hit rock bottom before they become susceptible to being taught by intuitives in this regard but maybe i am being a bit too pessimistic here. On the other end, sensors can hold intuitives accountable and encourage them to get things done etc. I actually think some of the polarization in society might be because intuitives and sensors don't really understand each other and their respective needs. Sure the media is a large culprit here as well. But for instance, intuitives might feel judged by sensors as lazy and useless(think even Jung as an intuitive wrote something about intuitives having the potential to be the most useless of all men). After being judged by sensors the intuitive might want to get back at them or society since society is very sensor dominated. But there might be no malice behind it, the intention of the sensor might be to try and improve the intuitive to make them more productive so they can have a better standard of living in life and reach their goals. Sensors seem to believe a lot more in the concept of negative help, which i think might make an intuitive prone to label the sensor as a nazi ;)

I’d argue that intuition is part of the human psyche in general. Everyone likes to thinking they use intuition because it is arguably what makes us human. The ability to plan and form underlying themes. This is the criticism that f MBTI. IQ and the big five are the best predictors rather than MBTI. Psychologist Jordan Peterson says that MBTI is archaic and invalid. Many psychologists agree.
@PoetOfFlames4 жыл бұрын
if you actually did your research you'd realise that MBTI is derived from Jung's works, which posit that all 4 cognitive processes (Sensing, Intuition, Thinking, Feeling) exist within the mind, just with different attitudes (introverted, extroverted) towards each function in a descending order of priority within the conscious and unconscious mind.

If you can't even clean up your own room, who the hell are you to give advice to the world? My sense is that if you want to change the world, you start from yourself and work outward, because you build your competence that way. The world presents itself as a series of puzzles some of which you’re capable of solving and some of which you’re not. You have many puzzles in front of you that you could solve but you choose not to. Those are the things that weigh on your conscience. It’s like “I should really do this,” but you don’t. Cause the question is, how much are we contributing to the fact that life is an existential catastrophe and a tragedy? How much is our own corruption contributing to that? That’s a really a worthwhile question. The things you leave undone. Because you’re angry, you’re resentful, or you’re lazy. You have inertia. Well, you consult your conscience and it says, ‘Well, you know, that place over there could use a little work.’ It’s the same as working on yourself. And so you clean that up, because you can. And then things are a little clearer around you. And you’re a little better off, because you’ve practiced a bit. And so you’re a little stronger. And then something else manifest itself and says, ‘Well maybe you can take a crack at fixing me too.’ So you decide to do that and that gets a little more pristine. …and then maybe you’ll learn enough by doing that so that you can fix up your family a little bit, and then having done that, you’ll have enough character so that when you try to operate in the world, at your job, or maybe in the broader social spheres, that you’ll be a force for good instead of harm…
