Incidentally your today's color combo is the same I used about a week ago (with the one difference that instead of black I used van Dyck brown). That's why it was so engaging for me to watch you paint today ... wow, I even found myself talking to you, like "Oh, that's great!" and "Oh no, don't do that!" and "There's some pink missing right here!" - and in the end it turned out to please me a lot, despite the fact that you never seem to follow my advice. 😄 Thank for this video, dear Cathy, it gave me a lot more to watch than what meets the eye. 😍

If I paint with acrylic in watercolor paper, do I also need to apply a gesso coat before painting? Thanks for your videos ❤

No you don't but I usually do it anyway, because I like the texture from the gesso on paper. 👍

Thank you! I use a wire-o-sketchbook from Kunst & Papier. It's 28x28 cm. You just have to gesso the pages before painting, because the paper is only 130 gsm. Do a google search to see if you can find them online.
