In all my conversations with you, I don't think we've ever had to re-explain or reinterpret what we mean. This is such a relief. With other INTJs I find myself clarifying way too much

I am an INFJ with an ISTJ parent. Even though as an adult, I think my upbringing was pretty good, there's just a part of myself that I don't think my parent can truly grasp and understand. Only ever with other heavy intuitive do I feel that I am deeply understood. I imagine this would be the same dynamic with a partner, but I have never chosen a sensor partner before so cannot confirm.

Im an NP and will say I get along with SPs far more than SJs, that's where I run into more misunderstandings and clashes. Platonically anyway, Idk about romantic.

As a Se user, I don't really have any communication problems with Si users when it comes to sensory things. Our sense of aesthetics, e. g. in relation to nature, is often identical. On the other hand, it becomes difficult with Ni insights, especially if they are quite abstract and have no direct connection to the sensory.

Are you a Se-dom? I'm a Ne-dom (ENTP) and I often struggle communicating with ESTPs. I love them but it's like I don't understand their "goals" in an interaction.

@@davineuskens21 No 😊 INTJ is my psychological personality type. Perhaps the information about the Se user was a bit misleading.

@@kataiwannhn Oh hahaha. It's okay. So you mean that the Si-user usually has a hard time understanding your Ni insights?
@kataiwannhn2 жыл бұрын
@@davineuskens21 Yes, that is indeed my impression based on personal experience when it comes to more abstract matters. But I wouldn't bet on it. 😊 Of course there are also Ne people who e. g. know about philosophy and can think logically using Ti. I made my “negative” experiences mainly in the field of theology.

@@kataiwannhn I understand. What are some of your thoughts in the field of theology? I'm curious now

I think maturity and healthy and unhealthy patterns could make or break the two types

I don’t think introverted functions yield to their extroverted counterparts? One person in a group of Si users says pineapple on pizza is how it’s done because that’s how they grew up ordering pizzas. Is the one oddball really going to feel understood or be understanding of the rest of the group?
@TypeMatch2 жыл бұрын
They will not be understood in their individual Si preference but in their Si reasoning, they will be with other Si users. The reasoning of "it's how I grew up" will resonate with other high Si users but not with Se. Si is highly subjective to the individual's personal experiences so it's variable in it's output but not in it's processing. You need to pay attention to the process rather than the external shape the function takes. That's why two Fi users who have different values can think that they're so opposite from each other but the internal process is fundamentally the same.

With which types mostly ? And do they not understand you even when they try or they don't care so you feel intellectually lonely?
