YOU ARE AMAZING!! I have learned so much from you!! I had my first art fest event the other day and sold 15 matted paintings and 3 books (I'm an author, too.) When I'm asked about my abstract flowers I tell them that my flowers grow on the page not in the dirt. You are my hero. 😊

@@debralynrosenbachart I write contemporary and Old West mysteries under my professional name C. C. Harrison. Thank you! Yeah, they get pretty vocal around this time of year. It seems they like suggesting we all need to know our place when it comes to their nuts hidden away. It very obvious they didn’t read (and can’t read) the part where we have dominion over them 😂 🐿. If they could read, maybe this wouldn’t be happening? 😂 📚🐿🤓 In the mean time we just keep getting yelled at by the 🐿’s.

Arches!!! I did this 4 times. I'm new at watercolors but I should know better - I did it 3 times on non-cotton watercolor paper to get used to the technique. Each time I got better. Then I did it on Arches. You are right - it's a huge difference in the way the water and paint moves on the paper. Definitely the last time was better - but "letting the brush dance across the page" is not easy for me! Thanks for great inspiration!

I have a question. I noticed that you paint out to the edge of the paper a lot and I’m wondering if this interferes at all with your matting and framing of a picture? I was cautioned years ago, not to paint to the edge of the paper ..but I noticed that a lot of people do …and so I was wondering how you handle that? Thank you very much. ….I love your style.
