I like that your videos show players how they can practice. My favorite two lessons that you presented in this video moving the service to different locations and disguise. So many players tend to hit the serve in the same location especially on the second serve. If you’re returning serve watch for the placement of the toss to tell what type of serve or possibly what direction it may go. I use to play against a guy that always moved the ball and racquet forward and back in a double pump before he hit a flat serve up,the middle but not when he was hitting a kick or slice. His ball placement was different for each serve. He hit great serves but had no disguise. I use to against a guy who hit great returns if he was able to move sideways but had difficulty with serves into his body. I would choose my placement according to the service score. Players can improve if they pay attention to things like this.

I have decent first serve but very inconsistent, I don't hit long much but i hit the net mostly. I realized my ball position in air on the toss is inconsistent which could be one of many reasons. Your last drill will be very good to practice Can you suggest something to fix it in general?

Great drills, thanks! Guys, you shouldn’t bounce the ball in the last drill! I saw once Cilic making a drill where his former coach Ivanisevic gave him a ball immediately after a service, and Cilic had to jump back and serve again, something like 10 times. No rituals allowed of course. Nadal would probably profit from such drills. I like how Sampras did in his ritual, bouncing only once. I do the same. However, everyone should realise that he can serve also without any ritual. Something about the drill where the coach tell you in the last second how to serve. Agassi was doing exactly like this in the beginning of his career. He said he decided where or how to serve only after throwing the ball. His coach Brad Gilbert could not believe this. He didn’t appreciate the value of such “decision in he last second”: how can the opponent read your service if even you don’t know what you are about to do?

Only problem with the first drill is the feed is coming from your side of the court, and from the side! This is never going to happen in a match, so it's not realistic. The feed has to be from a relatively similar place to where your serve lands, so you're at least hitting the next shot from a more realistic situation. Besides that this video is great

I'm getting this PP string: www.pros-pro.com/en/pros-pro-german-polyester-string-hexaspin-200-m-1-25-mm-gold-hexagonal.html I want to get this Multi next for my hybrid. @MatthiasW T I totally understand what you mean. I'm not a great player, but I like to hit fast balls. So I do like to try different strings at different tensions. Your serve could be made more powerful with some simple adjustments based on physics. Sadly, most tennis people find it uncomfortable to get out of their comfort zone: playing a good game of bad tennis. Maybe physics can help. Here is a professor who hits as hard as the pros, but not exactly like the pros with new rackets and techniques based on physics: www.nytimes.com/2018/05/11/sports/tennis/don-mueller-rackets.html
