I think it is important that we honour this great son of India by conferring on him the highest civilian award of the country, viz., "Bharat Ratna" next year that is in 2021. We would be celebrating his birth centenary next year ie., in 2021 ! Kerala govt. could rename the KVASU university at Pookode in Wyanad for "Veterinery and Animal Science" after Dr. Varghese Kurien ! Also Nov. 26th, which is Dr. Vargese Kurien's birthday, at present, is being celebrated as national milk day by India. This should be celebrated from next year onwards as "International Milk Day". For this, the U N should be requested to declare this day as the "Int. Milk day" instead of being done in the month of June as at present. The govt. of India should take initiative for this and all the MPs from Kerala should raise their voice together setting aside their political differences. This man has single handedly converted our country from a milk deficient country to the largest milk producing country of the world today. His model has been adopted by several countries including Pakistan !

@@musthafa408 Man you are living(infact most keralites) in a bubble where people constantly say, 'we are the best'. Kerala is good in health and education, thats it. Education only till primary level. In higher studies kerala is behind a lot of states. We import vegetables and other edible stuff from rest of india, which proves agricultural revolution didnt take place in kerala. 1st IT hub was started in trivandrum , but now it is nowhere as bangalore , hyderabad, mumbai, delhi and a lot of other places are better than trivandrum, this proves IT revolution didnt take place. Kerala doesnt have industries, this proves industrial revolution didnt take place. This is the reason keralites are out of kerala for jobs.
