The man singing is grandfather. He passed away 23 years ago and was an amazing musical artist. My childhood was filled with these memories! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Clever but simple guitar hook makes this gem scream 1960's.The translitional period of this Era is great period. I enjoy most songs especially garage punk and the non commercial songs for this Era. Once again Bolt 24 has, posted another hidden gem keep them coming...

@@filler7359 I did have a similar situation for real, for real! Sitting out on my front step downing sum cold brewskis, and playing this loud ! A few youngins, Round early , mid 20 S starting grooving to this bad ass tune . So I joined in , of course asking politely ( I really barged in) and MAN we was all kicking it out. Well being I'm a 66 yrs young , I told them there's more of this where this came from . Bad ass hip to the trip. Of course I shared sum cold ones , especially with sum cuties .

Now I know where "The Inmates" got their musical style from. The way this group started their song was similar to the Inmates along with their fast moving style. The Inmates were one of my favorite groups from the late 70's and early 80's. The Inmates also has echos of this particular band. If they would've covered this song in 1979 and 80, it would been perfect for them. I like this particular band because they have echos of "The Animals and The Stones". Now we're beginning to see how things are intertwined and that's why 60's music is the best.

I always, thought this was, a clever song no thrills just a song that makes feel teen age angst... With a rift that is, memorable.

It's a "mature" soul tune, way different from this. It can be heard heree: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2qXqYB_qb6CppI
