shenhe doesn't grant attack, she grants flat damage bonus based on her own attack, similar to yunjin and zhongli's hp scaling damage. her damage bonus is added after the other characters base multipliers.

yun jin’s buff scales on def, not hp. her skill absorption scales on hp but the more important parts of her kit scale on def. zhongli is the one that scales all hp afaik (coming from someone who uses yun jin regularly and has her burst crowned)

i think its better to use Shenhe's E at the start before everyone. that way you go through everyone's abilities and you fire Ayaka's burst and by half way through Ayaka's burst you can tap Shenhe's E again to buff more of Ayaka's burst ticks. for C0 Shenhe ofc

Generally speaking, 4 noblesse atk/atk/atk + Favonius lance is Shenhe's best setup. Jade spear is not a great option, especially when your ER is subpar

Shenhe is the limited 5* i prepared for using the least amount of resin yet her pieces are the best. She has 4.28k ATK and 144 ER, i gave her my best circlet which is: Glad ATK% circlet - 13.2% rate - 22.8% damage - 18 ATK - 5.8% ER

Wavebreaker's fin was the way to go + x4 Noblesse. And no, keeping units underlevelled makes you lose 10-20% of their potential output and makes you go batcrap crazy in finding the artifacts to compensate that...aka: MUCH more expensive. I’ll say having shenhes cons make her E sooo much more manageable between CDs since I think either c1or 2 gives her the extra charge plus the cryo crit damage from either c2 or c3 I know I was struggling with the trigger quota thing from c6 for a while couldn’t tell wtf was going on till I realized you either start with all the marks or stacks from the mantra or 3/4 of them either way I fried my brain only to naturally figure out rotation and it was better that way for me

Being only viable on Freeze comps imo is stretch cuz you can easily use this with Furina no ? Furina+Shenhe+Bennet that's a ton of DMG buff and to top it off Freeze is a condition it's not a requirement! So if you have any plunge attack or charge attack or simply a physical DMG character you can combine all ATK buffers (why not) and simply hypercarry with physical/plunge/heavy Attack damage character!! Wonderer/Xiao other chars that can plunge you name it..
