Well as Rob says when Galactus shows up, "Shit's about to pop off," well in the Sinestro Corps War, after the rings were authorized lethal force, shits about to pop off. This was one of my favorite arcs, Geoff Johns did such an amazing job. Makes me want to dig these graphic novels out and re-read the entire Sinestro Corp War, leading into Blackest Night and Brightest Day.

The ammendments to the Book of Oa by the Guardians engender such a natural progression to the 'Blackest Night' storyline (as well as serving an ulterior purpose). There are so many interesting plot lines occurring concurrently in this arc, yet they manage to remain cohesive and intersect. Great writing by Johns.
