Thanks, I can see how hard this one will be to play solo, but equally with different players having different amount of stuff to do I don't really see myself playing this opposed...

Do you think the main issues with the game are the poorly written rules or there’s too much bloat/chrome?

@@nathanlandrum8629 Too much chrome particuarily if you are playing solo. Using the living rules hasnt been an issue to me its just that there a lot of specific rules that only apply depending on the current state of play. Handling the book keeping overhead could also be a major issue for people (although I found this a lot easier to handle than the deluxe version of Imperium Romana).

@@Jezza_One That’s good the rules issues were ironed out then. I’m tempted to get this as this is my favorite period of history.

I have this - really love the historical time period. However the game is a mess.

The 1.1 living rule set is ok now. The problem is that the ge really needs an App to manage the book keeping.
