This crab can make a most popular Vietnamese "bun rieu" soup. Massachusetts has a big problem about this specie, but with over 100 of crabs can make a nice pot of soup. Someone should introduce them to Vietnamese food market, that will solve the problem.

One time i saw a guy fishing with european green crabs he had like a dozen of them he pretty much caught Tarpon and snook and some sheep's head so I guess these green crabs work reall well as bait?

Yeah I saw a video of a guy using green crab as bait and he caught some good fish

Lobsters love them they are also great fishing bait

But But all crabs, clams and oysters are dead now by ocean acidifacation - right ?

They wont get rid of these crabs. I dont know of any invasive species that's ever been successfully eradicated.

I'll just guess that they don't have a pleasant flavor or this wouldn't be a problem...? Just a guess.

They do actually have a pleasant flavor. There's no funkyness at all, or any strange flavor notes. It just tastes like a mild Dungeness. They don't have much meat though, you'd have to catch a dozen or so to come close to the amount you'd get in a Dungeness or similar species.

Animals and plants can't be invasive! That means I as a white man shouldn't be in America. I mean it's very well known America belongs to the indigenous Natives American population. I've never understood this when I hear "invasive species" . We should be calling the term " undesirable species". "Invasive" consists solely on blaming.... But....... "Undesirable" consists of responsibility by owning discrimination of thought

It's properly scientifically classified as an invasive species. Like with the killer wasps from Asia, such a species finds our habitat desirable and wrecks havoc on our natives.
