The collaboration with Taku from @OutdoorChefLife is finally here! We took him Iguana hunting and fishing for exotic fish species in South Florida! Our Goal was to harvest enough iguanas for Taku to make a delicious iguana ramen, and we also caught clown knife fish, which I prepared into fish balls. We made the most out of the time he was here, as it was extremely windy his entire stay, so we couldn't take him offshore.

Hey man, have you ever thought about doing a recipe book? I inshore/surf fish with a bunch of snobs here in Central FL and just about anything that isn't a prime catch to them is a "trash fish". Blues, jacks, sharks, spanish mackerel, lady fish, etc. I love your approach that anything can be good when it is prepared the right way in the kitchen. Last time I brought in a load of blues, I smoked them and it was amazing... My friends didn't believe it was blue. Anyways, I love the cooking portion of your videos just as much as the fishing! Would love to try some of your recipes.

Hey Vic, I have caught many iguanas with lures before while I was fishing. I've used flukes and Im sure they will bite some small jigs. Just cast it near them and drag across the ground and they will bite it, then they jump in the water and you fight em like a fish. Try it out, its a lot of fun. Tight lines and God bless. I remember growing up and watching all sorts of outdoor life shows with large budgets, editors, writers, etc... and looking back how poorly they were made. In Asia, where these Clownfish (we call them the Featherback or Knife Fish here) originate from, we make Fishballs or fishcakes with them. You got it right... and you guys should have kept the Peacock Bass, they taste really good Steamed Chinese style with Light soya sauce, Sesame seed oil, lots of ginger, scallions and cilantro. you must cook the iguana in platano leaf under the fire charcol you add all the ingredients with seasoning of choice ! wrap it like a huge tamale on many leaf to stand the heat and let it cook for hours ! you'll love it ! same thing with birds
