Very interesting episode. Eddy is doing some interesting and innovative things with his monitors and 3D products. I got a few ideas for myself! Transporting all of his building products on his bike shows his dedication to the hobby!!!

Thanks for listening Rick, glad you enjoyed the episode! I can’t wait to see where the 3-D printing space evolves in the next 2 to 3 years. And yeah… Transporting all that material on a bicycle is absolutely insane 😂 No more excuses about not having space in my car!

This came at just the right time in my hobby... i've just gottten into inventing things as i've been into DIY the whole time and this helps the confidence out a lot! Great show. 1:06:38 what you can do is design a "basic" one and then get a mold made of it and do plastic molds. Make it the "cheap" version for the budget conscious and for the people who like it to be a more "clinical" setting. It would require a bit to get it going but after the initial expense the produce itself becomes cheap to make.

Try epoxy resin, versus Drylock. It has no smell and is completely water proof--and you don't need five coats. It's also less material and weighs less. Great for sealing wood. It's also a washable surface. Or try mixing sand into it for a textured surface.

You are very right about this topic, it’s been a struggle for sure for the entire monitor community to grasp. I’ve been slowly making the transition to full in scent diets. To help insure my animals live a long and healthy life

This is completely dependent on the monitor species. Savanna's get fatty liver disease quickly because they are insectivores as juveniles, and transition into primarily eating giant african snails as adults in the wild. Tree monitors cant handle eating mammals more than once, and feeding them insects that are raised on a high protein will quickly ☠️ them. The diet and overall health of their food is the difference between having a green/yellow/blue/baik/gold/black tree monitor croaking in 10-15y, vs living 20y+ in captivity.
