They didn't mention the most important new feature- you can now Alt+V in parts as well, not only in assemblies. Took them a damn while but I'm glad it's finally here

Why aren’t ALL the menus and UI consistent looking yet? Didn’t they start this several years ago? Sure extrude, hole, etc are updated… but what about all the other functions? Like the parts list table view in an assembly, move bodies command, even the assembly constraints menu… they all look super old. That’s the one plus I’ll give to NX, everything is consistent. But those pretty icons!

​@@MrThebathtub Yeah. The whole sheet metal thing is still very sketchy and unreliable, bolted connection is still limited and unreliable, BoM is a mess... I mean overall, I like Inventor more than SW (barely used NX), but 3D annotation and fewer clicks to send to Fusion being the biggest features of a "major" update really does not justify the $2300/year subscription pricing.

Been working with inventor for 20 years, never seen a version release that was such a pile of shit, crashes, corrupt parts, updates that crash the system, total bugfest. Great work autodesk.

I have to laugh ... "large assembly performance" ... that has been ever since a problem in Inventor. If the same programming engine was used as before, then nothing has changed. When will Autodesk become bold and cooperate with e.g. Nvidia and the Unreal Engine to bring powerful CAD to the market?

Nope... that's effectively a dead product unfortunately. We will get small improvements as those same toolpaths improve in Fusion 360. But nothing big will come through.

DO NOT SWITCH TO 2023. Stick with 2022. 2023 is buggy as shit and more sluggish with basically no new features/fixes. What we need is automated design rule check, proper bolted connection and sheet metal, better IK solver, consistent UI, not buttons to send files Fusion or GPU ray tracing. Autodesk what the fuck have you done with my money? This shit is almost as sketchy as Solidworks now.
