Great video Andrew. I think inventors are thinkers and we over think everything. My rule of thumb is to Keep it Simple.

Absolutely!! I deffenitly have a problem with over thinking things as well, and as of just recent realized that it aided in the road blocks I found in between me and getting my product to market!! Well even in between getting a PPA filed really...I fell into one of the categories of people that Had to have a full looks like, works like prototype, and required that I had every little detail figured out before id allow myself the courage to start building a benefit statement, or sell sheet. I understand now that I dont need to have every manufacturing process understood, and figured out prior to filing a PPA, although important when bringing my idea to potential licensors, its not needed for protection. Think I got that right. Lol Currently working on my benefit statement and all the details of how my product will benefit the user/Customer.

Great video, I have a quick question I still haven’t got my llc set up, but I have a company interested in moving forward. Is it ok to sign an individual NDA or is it to risky? Keep up the great videos.
@pennwood75 жыл бұрын
Good question...The answer is "It Depends..." Have you watched all of the FREE InventRight videos on KZbin? What is you experience level? Are you sugning their NDA or yours or one you Googled? Are you broke and just getting by? (no disrespect ... reality check) How many companies are on your propect list? Do you trust a couple people in the company? Have you Googled them? Have read Stephen Key's books more than once? Do you know the difference between an NDA and a Provisional Patent Application (PPA)? How valuable is your idea? Is it easily copied? About how much can you sell the product for? Should be at least 3 to 5 times the cost of manufacturing? Suggested read the books, go to USPTO.gov and read up on the PPA? Google Inventors club 50 miles form your city...check meetup.com then search for inventor in a 50 mile radius.. as a starter...If it is for the home be at the Housewares show Chicago Mar 2-5...if it is doing anything with Broadcasting be at National Broadcasting Show Las Vegas soon, if it ciuld be sold in a small or large hardware show be at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas late Spring...etc Some of these shows have on going training in an inventors area

I have watched all your videos. I already have a patent pending and I should have a patent in 8 months if everything goes well. It’s going to be one on google. I’m not broke but not rich. I do trust them.

What state are you in. For me to file an LLC with the state of West Virginia it cost $25.00 and I can do it myself in minutes. Check with your state to see what's involved. It may be very simple. .

I've been having trouble with one potential licensees from even acknowledging they received my email. One company's receptionist would get snippy when she heard my name. I'm just asking if you've received the email. Not asking for anything else. Finally got in contact with someone else at the company and sent it to them. It took me a couple weeks to get an acknowledgement from that one too but eventually I did get confirmation. Even though I was always polite and waited at least a week between calls, I'm pretty sure they think I'm "that guy."
@inventRight5 жыл бұрын
They may not be that open to open innovation. Did you ask the receptionist if she had received your email? Or if she knew whether someone else at the company had? Way to see it through.
@jeff37415 жыл бұрын
@@inventRight The receptionist told me to send it to the "woman who does this." I did connect with that woman on Linkedin but beyond accepting my invitation there has been crickets on that front too. No worries. Another very receptive gent at another company has spoken to me a couple times.

Vaping has health risks because of the flavoring oil they use coats the lungs and builds up. Vaping😢 has caused people to risk pneumonia, popcorn lung, to get lung transplants and death due to the flavoring. Most vapes also have nicotine which constricts the blood vessels and has the same heath risks as smoking. Heart disease, stroke, slower wound healing, decrease circulation of the blood. - not sure about cancer. It's still pretty new and we will have to see what the numbers show.If we have respiratory viruses going aroun, it seems likelyto expect the vapors to fall like flies.
@mustseevideos77775 ай бұрын
Lots of vaping people have terrible lung damage from the flavoring oil coating the lungs. Some have died some have had lung transplants. Then there is the nicotine health effects of heart disease and stroke. Other than that, it's a great idea. :)

The main reason why you don't want to come across as being difficult to work with is because they're afraid that once they start investing 10's of thousands of dollars, or millions of dollars into your product idea, and you start protesting every petty thing that has nothing to do with how your product functions, they will become fearful that you may file a lawsuit against the company claiming some kind of breach of contract ... .... which results in the Court ordering a stay or gag order against all product selling until the lawsuit is settled. Which means the company may end up losing millions of dollars in manufacturing, marketing investments, and on and on. So arguing over the manufacturer either changing the color, the shape design of a hinge, or the product name, or whatever, will make you look like the kind of nut job that will be sending them paperwork from your attorneys and the courts over insignificant issues which in the end will cost the company millions of dollars in revenues .... not counting all the legal fees they have to pay, and the possible destruction of the reputation of the company should your lawsuits become public knowledge. The lawsuits you file may result in the general public boycotting all products made by them. ..
