I invented suitcases on wheels in 1977 (?). They were patented in 1987. My father was carrying extremely heavy suitcase, he needed to stop every 10 meters. A woman passed us with a Stroller! I told my Father that since he is "master Engineer" he can put WHEELS on SUITCASE and make new invention. He had resources since he was Mechanical School Principal with all the machines ready! My father beat me for this. He said it was "STUPID"to which, I replied yelling: "NO! It's SMART! YOU ARE STUPID!" lolol. :') *spank! spank! spank!*

Good day Mr Key, I am reaching out from South Africa, where I am in the early stages of developing a innovative technology. My proof of concept has been successfully completed, and I have engaged with a reputable Patent Law firm to explore intellectual property protection. Currently, I am building a prototype to refine my design concepts, which will be included in the provisional patent application. My technology has far-reaching market potential, with applications in multiple industries, including: - Home and consumer markets - Food processing and manufacturing - Hospitality and entertainment sectors As I explore licensing opportunities, I am interested in knowing whether your firm considers international markets, such as South Africa, for potential partnerships and collaborations. Looking forward to your response and potential discussion on how we can work together to bring this innovative technology to market. Best regards, Frans

Hello, I have 4 questions, do you guys recommend to use AI to: 1-Write a solid PPA. 2-Create an effective marketing brochure. 3-Create a great digital prototype. 4-Produce a list of companies in the same segment as the product to be licensed.
@inventRight

@martinez.partnership I would never use a general AI to write a PPA. List of companies sure Digital prototype maybe Marketing material sure

Regarding office actions, why would the USPTO be charging you anything because you came up with an idea? It seems a little incentivized for them to just never approve any patents, ever…if they knew they could charge another $10K+ and still wait months or years for it without it ever being approved or looked at. Like how would anyone ever tackle something they’ve created?

$2,000 to $20,000 is an attainable goal post if you're serious about your product, and more importantly it gives you a rough goalpost. It is totally understandable how it could vary by 10x. This young fellow is clearly offering a missing piece beyond the idea and legal end of the business in making it a tangible reality for investors. Very cool.

I have my all-plastic working game prototypes professionally 3D printed for $200-$500. This price includes all of the CAD work too. I just do drawings with all of the measurements. They usually get done in 1 to 2 weeks. One of them I've licensed and is on the market. So shop around locally.

I've been hunting through design companies that say they will help from napkin drawings to final manufactured product to packaging to marketing. They will charge an arm and two legs. Over $20000 at a still mostly concept and prototype TESTING stage. And that's from a fine human being who apologised for leaving me in the lurch with me having sent them 3/4 of the parts to make said prototype of my version of a beach umbrella - pretty simple. Also I have email history of a negative experience with Bsense. Unless you're super rich it's so hard to get treated with respect. They want you to do a lot more than you think. A mould or die tooling for a simple custom plastic part ranges from $20000-30000 each.
