Question about the density maintenance formula. How does one solve for 1 of the SID's when you have both mAs and one SID?

Helpful video, could you please explain to me how you reduced the inches 80 to 10 and 72 to 9.

That was just reducing fractions to the lowest terms. Each of those numbers (80 and 72) is divisible by 8.

So what did the other trolls say? Just so all the newbies don’t get too terrified of what an rad tech does. You’ll never use this inverse square law as a working tech. You won’t even get developer or fixer on your virgin hands.

in the first example you wrote 70" instead of 72" and that confused me alot

I'm not sure which example you're speaking about... this video only contains one example where 72" is used.

The question asks for the new "exposure" at the new distance, not "how to maintain exposure" at the new distance.
