A lotta people seem to be getting their hopes up for Spamton to be like this super powerful and heroic force that's gonna defeat Asriel. Please keep in mind that this conflict is still focused on Chara, Frisk, and Asriel. Just because Spamton is in the rift doesn't mean he's gonna hijack that plot.

This whole au might just beat the entirety of all those other AUs, maybe even Undertale itself! The world is so large, the dialogues are genuine, everything just seems perfect! Honestly, if this became a game, I'd pay the price of a AAA game to play it. (Also, surprise Spamton decided to join. Wonder what'll happen.)

To each their own, personally disagree. While its good, and I'd definitely buy a full game, its no where near the original in terms of emotional resonance for me. For me, I was invested in Undertale for the personal family tragedy of Asriel and the Dreemurrs, and the True Pacifist ending broke me to tears when saving Asriel. I don't quite think Inverted Fate is going for an ending like that, it seems to be going for... a different route, to say the least. But as I said, to each their own, happy people are excited for the future. I just wait with bated breath.

This is honestly my favorite episode so far. Seeing Frisk and Chara continue to bond, even when they don’t know if they’ll make it out, is really neat. Also Spamton having this much determination over his customers is honestly really funny.

I like how this au doesn't take many community mandela effects into account. Any other AU would've taken spamton and focus way too much on him, but here he's just a fun character that shows up as a miniboss. With a little bit to continue on him.

I love Asriel's sprite, and the way his head is moving even when it's just the face sprite. Frisk and Chara get a little part of the world Asriel is building, and Frisk finds it "almost cool"...I want to see it ! Even if I don't want the IF reality to disappear, I'm really interested in Asriel's vision of an ideal world. I jumped when Asriel appeared : finally ! And he made such a great arrival. And he's nice, he prepared an itinary for them, he's just a nice animator actually. I didn't understand the point of giving SAVE points to Frisk and Chara first, Asriel can save when he wants and he permanently keeps an eye on them, so...but now I understand : he wants to be the narrator like his best friend ! But Frisk prefer the old version : isn't the narrator who wants it. (Also, I really like the new SAVE file) I found really intesresting that Frisk discovered the "classic" timeline, and if this was the first chapter, I can't wait for the future of Rift.

The old timeline monitors were basically just to convey the old timeline they lived through. That timeline no longer exists, but they were being shown their previous journey and starting to remember stuff.

I don’t know where to start. The Castle Bleck and OneShot design inspirations, Asriel’s physical debut, more bonding between Cap and Frisk and finally the AU Easter Eggs! What an incredible start to the Rift Arc and it honestly gives more hype for future parts than anything before this Arc.

Interesting, Asriel is allowing them to SAVE, but that's probably because he's allowing it. Regardless, he would LOAD regardless if they somehow died on memory lane - he has done it before with the Spamton battle (but not entirely sure if dying is cannon or not). I see potential to break through to Asriel all things considered, since he hasn't killed Frisk and forced himself onto Chara yet. Perhaps he might be willing to negotiate, but it won't be essy.

Great job on the episode. Also, I personally find it kinda weird to see Spamton not only mentally stable (compared to how he is in Deltarune), but also so willing to help others. Maybe this version managed to gain what he wanted after all.

His motivation is really a twisted sentiment- Lilac gave him surface money, so he's rather miffed on that front, but he's still pretty... self-serving. See: tricking Robot 100 and 98 into signing contracts that led to forced servitude. He's a weird one.

Yeah, Spamton was a spam email that was created by the spider merchant back in waterfall which became sentient and became semi-friends with Papyrus, leading him to make Spamton a physical body, I'm not sure how it actually became a reality since we don't see Spamton's physical form on anything else than the terminal files as concept art but I'll buy that something happened after all souls became merged and Spamton managed to become a real boy.

Inverted Fate, it's good to see you return... This was really, REALLY cool. It really set the scene for what's to come. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing Frisk and Chara revisit what happened in the old world through the screens was really cool, most of the things from there were only found in secret pages and on Tumblr up until now so it's nice that they were shown in this chapter. The glimpses of other AUs really surprised me, and they fit in really well. I very much like the idea of Asriel just... looking at other worlds and creations only to go "MY world will be so much better". It really fits him. I wasn't expecting the first proper appearance of Asriel here... I really like the way his overworld sprite was made, it looks really good. And, of course, we shall not forget the postcredits. Spamton G. Spamton is ready to face the one who took his customer's [heart shaped object], and I'm genuinely curious as of what he'll do now that he's entering the rift. Overall, this was so amazing. It made me extremely excited for what's to come... I'm a hundred percent sure that the next chapter will be amazing as well.

I can't believe I didn't check this out before, holy SHIT! The Rift looks incredible, and disturbing! It reminds me a lot of Castle Bleck in Super Paper Mario, with the black and white, the constant dark aura, the squares scattered in the sky... this is one of- if not absolutely- the best pieces of UNDERTALE fanworks in existence

I love everything about this, as always. The music, the design of the place, Asriel's first appearance since a few arcs ago, the look at other universes and the past timeline... Nah, he definetly won't be. Asriel can just kill him easily if he'll get in his way. Only Frisk and Chara can end that, since Asriel doesn't want to kill them, but keep them playing with him forever, giving them room to try and reason with him.

Predicting this now; No one gets saved. Nobody. Instead, what he does is causes enough of a distract where NO ONE wins. Nobody gets to come back as they are, and chara is 100% lost. Asriel's own soul is shredded to pieces. All that's left is Frisk's soul, or what used to BE him. Instead, he ends up as an amalg himself and the world recreates... with him as Kris. There is no good ending here, just one where Asriel doesn't get to win. Frisk can't win because there is no player, but they can certainly ensure everyone loses.

Christ, didn’t expect asriel to become completely monochromatic. His hair, his robes. Guess he really did enjoy goth better. Even his castle has a castle bleck/card castle theme going on. Regardless, asriel is now looking at other worlds. Neato. Bet he saw lots of stuff. Worlds where he wins, worlds where he doesn’t, worlds where he’s dead… worlds where he’s happy… though I feel like he’s smart enough to know wether he should interfere with other worlds or not. Also, he’s terrible with puzzles. I understand making it difficult, but all the black and white makes it hard to see witch pieces actively went where.

Their body will still exist. Asriel did say it was permanent in null_2. Unlike Asriel, theirs doesn't require all those souls to sustain.

Asriel is just getting way too powerfull.I wonder if ANY being in the whole multiverse has even a little chance to beat him at his point. He turned to the narrator, he created a whole new demention. I don't think anything could beat him in a real fight. He's more then a God at this point.
