Cosmetic surgery procedures should not be performed on anyone under the age of 18. In the meantime, if you are concerned about the apperance of your inverted nipples you could get advise from your GP or there is no harm in trying out a Niplette device as a teenager. It works quite gently and will not cause any damage to the nipples in the long term.

No, not if the milk ducts are divided. There are procedures that have a higher chance of breastfeeding post op. Some of the ducts may be cut and some stretched. This allows milk to still flow to the nipple.

You may have some mild discomfort for the initial 24-48 hours after your procedure but this can be controlled by pain medication. You will need to avoid strenuous activities for the first couple of weeks to avoid chafing. You will be fully recovered after 6 weeks where your swelling should have settled and your nipple will be in its new position.

Hi , I have keloid formation tendency, will it be a problem if I get this surgery?

There is always a risk of keloid scarring following surgery which increases if you area already prone to this. The scarring after inverted nipple correction surgery is very small and keloid scarring is rare, but not impossible so if considering inverted nipple surgery it would be advised that scarring is discussed with your surgeon so you can make a more informed decision.
