This is the equivalent of a dumbbell row that is 2/3 of your bodyweight!

Pair this with one arm press ups, and BANG!

I did a bent-knee variation of this yesterday, right lat hurts when I breathe today. I wish weighting 2-arm inverted rows to build up to this was easier.

Curtis Axel if you can do a feet elevated row with 45 Ibs for 12 reps you should be able to do this with feet slightly wide for 5 reps .

Just start at a 45 degree angle and keep doing it more horizontal until you can do it from the floor

It hurt even when you progressed from weighted 2 arm inverted rows TO single arm bent knee rows?

I try to push these hard as a beginner movement on my way to a one arm pull up. I can (double overhand) pull up just fine (think my max might be around, 40 kg, probably still too weak for a OAPU). Tried these the other day with mx feet on a bench and couldn't even do one. So I started with my fert on the ground, much harder than it looks. I think a good progression would be to do them weighted next, then feet on bench, then those weighted...

@@sw4lyfe No, I can get about halfway Up and then I start twisting and I can't completet the top Portion of the lift (from about 100° upwards). Not sure what weakness I have to adress to fix it and how to train for it. I doubt that I'll get by Just increasing my weighted pull Up.

is this a progression for a one arm pull up?
@ryanford19 жыл бұрын
+Morgan Freeman there are better progressions than this for a one arm pull-up. however, this can help as well.

This probably helps rear delts in ways one arm pullups don't.
