There's a "tool" I often use in my workshop, which is the plate, and rollers, from inside an old microwave. It's useful for airbrushing, to turn the work with a stationary brush, and also for the type of cutting you did your cowl with. Btw, if you're cutting carbon-fibre, you need to be very careful about working with a respirator. I'm told it's not as nasty as asbestos, but it's towards that end of the ruinous stuff you can breath in!

@@invertmast I don't know about "genius" but I do look at things I'm about to dump to see if they can be repurposed. Actually the most useful took in my workshop (I make large-scale models held together by M1 (40 thou) diameter machine screws, washers and nuts) is a tooth-pick with a small blob of clean "blutak" on the end. It's just the thing for picking up tiny nuts etc and positioning them, or starting tiny nuts on a thread!

@@Fidd88-mc4sz if this was a war ready B-29, yes, but Fertile Myrtle was stripped of all of that when it was converted to a mothership for dropping rocket planes.
