Thomas, my guess is this vinyl is made for automotive parts wrapping. Are you under the impression it will withstand exposure to gasoline, oils itc?

Everywhere that the fuel dots are or exhaust will be is painted, the areas of vinyl directly above those locations is painted over, so the edges are essentially sealed. I have high expectations that there will be few problems.
