As a Ghanaian I’d rather say our diaspora brothers and sisters shouldn’t be isolated from the local. You shouldn’t create a different community away from the locals rather build these communities amongst the spaces within the locals and this will promote unity
@ericnana987927 күн бұрын
I agree with many millions of times. Unity Bob Marley said. Diasporans need to learn the native languages. Once they isolate themselves from the locals then what's the point of their returning coz the slave masters are going to mock all of us together. They should remember that's not gonna be pan Africanism.

They have a American mindset--- before 1940 in America there were no taxes until the European mindset of business overtook the nonprofit trade and barter nomadic system... People of color are lost, history stolen and instead of getting a foundation they are thinking they will build borrowing money from the system that oppressed them Africa US all will be under the powers to be because people love the democratic system.

I have yet to explore other regions, and all the tourist sites, because I loved what I saw when I first visited! There will be other times for touring. I go to Ghana for a purpose and each time I land in the country, I hit the ground running. I am building a Wellness Resort in the Pan African Village in the Central Region. I was #43 in the recent recording-breaking Citizenship Ceremony, where 524 Diasporans received citizenship! Ghana has its challenges, but what country doesn't? Ghana is a beautiful country with LOTS of potential. I WELCOME YOU to come with your patience and invest your time, skills, and finances in Ghana! Akwaaba!

If you are gonna own a home in ghana atleast *visit* the country as much as you can, so that you can learn how the lifestyle is before you get a home there. Here in America, no matter what you do and who you are, the fact, that you are black. America isn't for you. I have seen it many times. It takes people with low self esteem to stay here forever. The court process will be long and painful if this happens to you. Trust no one! I repeat, trust no one. My only issue is with the lack of pricing transparency. This is being marketed to American diaspora primarily, hence the comparison of pricing to high end American markets. However, there was no mention of how the pricing compares to the local Ghanaian housing market. Purposefully angled the pricing pitch to seem like a complete win.
@rositascarborough575128 күн бұрын
The comparison is because of the amenities offered; they are building to meet American middle class and upper middle class expectations for amenities. You can absolutely buy cheaper cedi denominated homes, just don't expect American middle class amenities.

That will be done when you land at the airport.My advice is not to overstay yourself there with excuses, and other reasons, look at things as a Ghanaian 🇬🇭 , just make the MOVE and you will thank me later.

All of Africa is open for returners or business. It's really not hard to purchase land in Zambia Zimbabwe, Botswana, even Equatorial Guinea 😮. Especially if your not doing this alone, go there as a family or community, and it helps to know local friends too.

I love what Chaka said about ensuring partnerships from all local stakeholders holders. Cos what we don't want is to end up living in self imposed prisons because locals feel priced out and disconnected and end up looking for any opportunity to exact their frustrations on their new neighbours. Wishing these Young African Pioneers... all the very best. 🙏🏾👊🏿🙏🏾
