When it comes to maximizing profit in the Pokémon TCG market, Japanese cards reign supreme. Here's why: Unmatched Quality Control: Japanese cards consistently deliver superior printing and production quality compared to their English counterparts. This meticulous attention to detail translates into a significantly higher chance of pristine condition cards. In my experience, nearly 70% of all Japanese hits I submit for grading return as PSA 10s. This means more gem-mint cards, which naturally command higher resale values. Better Pull Rates: Japanese booster boxes and sets often offer higher-quality pull rates. Not only are the hit rates more consistent, but the variety of stunning card designs exclusive to Japanese sets makes them highly desirable for collectors and investors alike. Profit Potential: Graded PSA 10 cards fetch premium prices, and when nearly 70% of your Japanese cards hit this benchmark, the numbers speak for themselves. The combination of excellent quality and high demand ensures a steady stream of profit, turning every box break into a lucrative opportunity. Simply put, Japanese equals Profit. Their unmatched quality control, exclusive appeal, and higher grading potential make them the best option for collectors and resellers alike. If you're looking to turn your love for Pokémon TCG into a profitable venture, Japanese cards are your ticket to success.

I'd say yes and no on using quality control as a good thing for profitability. You don't want the population to be saturated with 10s. I'd argue that's why English commands a bit more in price. Because we know the quality sucks. So the rarity of PSA 10's come with a higher price tag.

I appreciate the mindset of doing what other people aren’t or looking at things that aren’t as popular right now. Me personally would rather spend that $50 a booster box in Japanese and just put it towards English. Still was a great video and like I said nothing wrong with what you’re doing.

I've been keeping watch with 151 as it slowly comes down in price as we approach December reprint in Japan. There is a few things to look out for. Shiny Treasure ex SV4a between 30-40 a box right now as well.

No one would ever convince me to buy japanese over English. In my personal opinion, it's a waste of money. Just put the money you have to English. English > everything else.

Yeah I agree if you like the art get a few Japanese boxes like 151 but other than that don't go crazy with it

I agree. I went hard on first Japanese set Vstar Universe and it didn’t work out.

agree, japanese is undervalued. I personally grab psa 10 / cgc pristine chasecards like greninja, bubble mew, 151 hits and sword and shield alt arts. and bruh there are so many new channels on my frontpage lol

I'm all for trying to hunt down an undervalued play, but I'm not so sure this is one I'd try. On ebay, I even filter out "Japanese" just because I don't want to see them. There are Japanese PSA 10s with "Buy it now" that are half or less than half of their English counterparts. I have even gotten offers from these sellers. Seems to me like they're desperate to get rid of the stuff. Sometimes I see nicely priced PSA 10s with "Buy it now" and I'm like nice! They always end up being Japanese cards. Lol. Maybe there is some upside, but my impression is that English cards will far outperform Japanese, and that the demand is far far superior.

I have somewhere about 50 booster boxes of sun and moon / sword and shield sealed and in storage (2 of every set), got them before the prices on Japanese stuff blew up because I saw a market opportunity. They have all increased in value but I have no reason to sell them now so I'll continue to sit on them for another 10+ years.

With the entry point of Japanese sealed product at the moment, there's absolutely no reason not to hold a position in it. It's a no brainer

I've decided to diversify my investments by going for japanese sealed in addition to my english. There is nothing wrong with using a portion of your spending power to spread risk. A lot of people (me included) are often controlled by emotion and commotion. The addition of Master Ball cards in 151 made me believe that it will be a sought after product for rippers and streamers in the future. I can already see the "Pikachu Master Ball Chase" videos coming in the future. I'm holding on for dear life to those cases XD

I am picking disney swartz 100. I think 60 is a steal for those. Raw cards definitely holding pretty well now. Few boxes of shiny, got some abyss as well. Will wait last print of 151 drop and pick up couple more. Picking up some slabs. Those have dropped fair bit.

Subscribed. I want to see you make that play into Japanese and I want to see how it rides out. I was thinking of doing the same before I watched your video. I feel like we’re going to see a drought in product.

Ngl I got boxes of crimson haze too for me looking at what the PSA10’s of the Japanese cards are going for. Looking at this super electro breaker Japanese box. I don’t know pull rates though of a box though looks like. Like the boxes are $30-50 seems low entry and eventually they got to run out too? Cheaper option for people who don’t care about collecting the cards in only English.

Digging the Best Buy Sweater! As a seller, and dealing with suppliers, Crimzon Haze is one I've been looking at too. But people should be careful, nobody knows the future.
