Similar experience with Niva bupa. They will reject the claim by default. You will need to produce a letter from hospital with very strong words on the purpose of admission, then there will be 50-50 chance to get the claim. I discussed with the TPA department and found that claim rejection rate of star is higher, followed by Niva bupa. I do not know why this youtuber is focusing too much on these two companies.

I had sever dengue and was admitted due to it. There was multiple recommendations from doctors to get admitted. But Nivea Bupa rejected my claim saying it can be treated at home. Don’t go for it, what’s the use of paying all those premiums when they will reject your claim when you need it.

Yes, even I had a similar experience. I was admitted because of tonsils and when I requested a claim Niva Bupa said that it won't be covered for the next 3 months mam, apke plan mein yeh 2 saal baad cover hoga aur abhi 3 mahine rehte hai. So we are basically paying to these companies for nothing. Kyunki policy bechte waqt toh yeh nhi btate.

People pay their hard earned money to the insurance companies hoping that during their crucial time they will get benefits of insurance. But reality is bitter, painful and horrible. Most of the companies are very promising while selling policies. But they have given training to their staff how to reject claim in whatever situation it may be. People faceb very helpless and potiable situation when they wait hours after hours to get cash free treatment. Those who apply for reimbursement majority got rejections and no response and bad behaviour. Thus insurance companies are looting people in the name insurance.your video is good in promises. You should redo the video with star assure, launched a year back, to help understand how this is actually in par to optima secure & reassure unlimited restore works same in all products. Also deductible is part of all 3 companies since 3 months back Star assure has same pre post hospitalization days as other 2 products. Lock the clock is fantastic but Premium of old age from star you pay at younger age in niva, so it's point less. Star assure gives 25% every year and in 4 claim free years policy goes to 4x.. it's not 10% per year in assure Niva does give 10X in titanium in 10 yrs, that's unbeatable but deductible discount is maximum in star assure and brand hdfc is best plus it gives 3x cover in only 3 yrs, that's fastest
