People complain that James is biased. Who cares as long as his recommendations make us some money. I could care less what he believes. The issue is a lot of folks are so weak minded that if they hear somebody else's viewpoint they're afraid that their viewpoint might change over time. Get wisdom and knowledge from different sources but chart your own path forward. Another common way of saying this is ....eat the chicken but throw away the bones. 😂😂😂be blessed❤

I know in the UK EV’s are not doing well . Legacy car Dealers are manipulating sales figures. Other countries maybe adopting EV’s but the UK has its own unique problems which is thwarting adoption.

Tax of 41% on unrealised capital gains already exists in Ireland on all index fund & ETF profits. It’s calculated & paid every 8 years. People do not flee the country. Instead they pay into their pensions for the tax benefits. They adapted.

With a Lamborghini it is not linear acceleration that is the selling point but g-forces on skid pad turning and stopping that matter more. Lambo are not meant for the drag strip but road course cyber truck no chance to keep up. For a truck its about towing and the cyber truck battery depleting to fast is a problem. Try pulling your rig into a charging station without detachment of the trailer and blocking 7 charging spots 😂

James, as I'm sure you know as well, you're comparing apples to oranges with Cybertruck and Urus. I get that you really like Tesla. But I've been noticing a lot of bias in your videos, to the point where it sounds like shilling at times. Yes, Tesla is doing well and will probably continue to do well, but let's not try to force your point by oversimplifying certain arguments. It debases your whole credibility for those with keen eyes. I mean it's a shitty company, repair cost are a joke for parts that cost next to nothing. Speed is slower where it matters. Costs more to run. Probs more to insure. Doesn't drive its self etc. It is not as good plus you could get 4 cyber trucks for that price of the hybrid.

It wasn’t apples to oranges. It was him comparing ICE to EV based on his friends preference for ICE sports cars. He used a top of the line ICE sports car and showed how a Tesla truck has better specs for almost every “sport” category.

@chingron @chingron 1. Price is Urus is about $250,000-300,000 depending on the options, not $457,834. Wrong information. 2. 0-60 is not the only "sport" metric, nor is sheer horsepower. Horsepower to weight ratio is much more indicative of a high performance car. 3. Handling and lap times would be much much better on the Urus. You cannot say that the Cybertruck is "better" than a Urus. They're not going for the same thing.

If there are 10 apples on an island and there are 10 dollars... the likelihood of each apple being priced at a dollar is high only if the dollars are evenly shared. It is more interesting to think about how the apples are priced when the wealth is unevenly distributed.

Not really. What one is really saying is "if everything else is equal". If you introduce other factors you change the situation. In reality people don't just have apples to buy/eat they can chose (or be forced through price or availability) to buy (or demand) an alternative. They also have a choice to try and get products for "free" to sell (or donate or store) themselves. You could resort to barter and avoid the exchange of $ alltogether. What if 2 of the 10 are allergic to apples ? What if someone is a business and wants to make apple pie to sell etc etc. All other things being equal should always be in your mind when considering economic scenarios like this. It is helpful to also have in mind the pressure supply and demand exert. An increase in supply (with all other things being equal) tends to put downward pressure on price. Increasing the money supply (with all other things being equal) tends to increase demand which tends to put upwards pressure on prices. The invisible hand moderates supply and demand such that they (always) meet at some level people are willing to sell and others are willing to buy. This is where socialists start tap dancing...introducing a select number of scenarios that obviously influence markets to justify government intervention. They ALWAYS simplify to make their case when in reality Free Marketeers are saying ..let these complex markets find their own equilibrium (despite the obvious inequalities and despite our inability to understand all the complexity) because (with all other things being equal) it results in the best outcome overall. When you rob people of agency you remove their ability to affect their life and are saying we(the government) know better than you. They point to the good of the whole v the good of the individual and almost always fail to demonstrate that (because markets are complex) and are left spouting platitudes and making excuses.

Sui is so much better than Solana. Market now realizes it too. Solana’s inflation rate is also insane and constant. Sui has a hard capped supply and diminishing inflation. NFA SUI > SOL

I just can't help think that the manipulation by whales, the Finks , etc is going to put off retail from coming in. Hii James, I have a question about whether Bitcoin could be part of the U.S. strategic reserve in the future. Recently, independent candidate RFK Jr. proposed that the U.S. aim for a strategic reserve of four million BTC. If Congress passes this bill, what would the Bitcoin price be for the strategic reserve? I'm asking this because gold is part of the U.S. strategic reserve, with a price set at $34 per ounce, while the current market price of gold is $2,650. In 1973, the strategic reserve price for gold was revised from $20 to $35, even though the market price at that time was around $100 per ounce. Could the government set a similar fixed price for Bitcoin? If the price is set below the market price, what impact would that have on the crypto market?
