What Corporate America fails to see is that when they deflect or excuse their behavior by saying things like, 'the market is amoral' or 'it's nothing personal, it's just business,' it is very personal to the individuals affected. It’s personal to the worker not being paid fairly, the person being price-gouged at the grocery store, the tenant being evicted because they’ve been priced out of their home, the family watching a loved one suffer and die due to a designed denial clause, and the individual losing years of their life to these injustices. The market’s only purpose, it seems, is to grow and consume-no matter the cost.

There's so much wrong with the american take on autism. It's not a disease, requiring treatment. Even your nomenclature is wrong and keeping these people in the shadow of 'they are an expensive problem.' A person doesn't 'have autism' - a person 'is autistic'. It is who they are. The moment you start to realise and adopt this view, you can start to educate the families and communities around them in how to assist autistic children to fit in to society - and assist society to support and accommodate autistic children and their families. It's not a mental health issue. Mental health issues are an effect of society misunderstanding autistic people. Yes, positive reinforcing therapies for the above is beneficial. Having the view that you're treating, or 'correcting' an abberation, leaves you in the dark ages of leaches and asylums.

And the healthcare sector is the most regulated industry in the US. Also, CON laws exist that impose a legal healthcare cartel so we don't get competition. This is not a free market. We have drug companies that want to lower prices, doctors that want to provide affordable care, and citizens that would choose them. If we had a free market, why can't people choose to work together so everyone gets what they want? It's because the government has meddled with the market to create middlemen with monopoly/monopsony power and all of us have no choice but to do what they say. I'm not saying moving to a single payer system won't fix things, but the current system is far from a free market.

It's just weird how we allowed corporations to take over healthcare, like it's a business. THAT'S what needs to change. By cutting down on the federal budget for all the made-up jobs designed to keep career politicians in power, we could afford health coverage for EVERYONE. It all comes down to realizing how much our government has been stealing from us and then fixing it. A lot of people are going to be very angry when they find out how much better we could have been living if all this money was actually being used properly. The first thing we need to do is seperate politicians from insider-trading. This is the primary problem behind all this corruption and I really don't understand why we are still allowing it. The United States is a low-tax country Compared with other nations in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United States ranks 32nd out of 38 in revenue as a percentage of GDP.20 But it’s not just that the United States is near the bottom end of revenue; it is nowhere close even to the average. Over the CBO’s 10-year budget window, the United States will collect $26 trillion less in revenues than it would if its revenue as a percentage of GDP were as high as the average OECD nation. When compared to EU nations, that number rises to $36 trillion. (see Figure 2) In contrast, the $289 billion projected revenue increase in the Inflation Reduction Act21 still leaves the United States ranking 32nd out of 38 OECD countries

No, it wasn't. Before you make a snarky comment, educate yourself on what the ACA actually does.

It wasn’t. It was implemented to prevent a public option, and enrich insurance corps. That’s why they donated $200M to Obama’s campaign.

Every care does have every spectrum. Fire shalt not warrant things and/or dings. In actual terms., a citizen got shot and killed., a spectrum by itself?

Please debate Destiny on this topic. He swayed me to the other side. We wouldn't be able to keep quality with a single-payer system.

The truth? The circus is fine, but the bread is expensive. Rome needs the circus and the bread. If bread is unaffordable, society will collapse, and we will eat the rich even if we die in the effort, they made life so miserable for us that death would be relief.
