I'm here for Mica. This story has been covered a lot on New Nation. Thanks for covering it too GMA. Mica's ex-husband needs to be investigated for her death. How he was able to walk free after all the abuse she endured is beyond me. Women need better laws to protect them from emotional, mental, and physical abuse. Mica didn't have a mental health problem. She had mental health problems from years of trauma and abuse.

The husband killed her, end of story. We've seen SO many of these missing/dying women stories to know that the first natural suspects are the husbands/boyfriends. These cases piss me off BIG time. Instead of resolving problems like normal people like going to counseling or therapy, some asshole decides that murder is the best solution, IT'S NOT! Better to cut your losses and just break up or divorce and simply move on to someone better. Just my advice

So even after seeing the video where she leaves home by herself, goes to buy a g*n and then proceeds to drive to the park (again, alone) and calls 911 so her family knows where to find her body, you still think he killed her?. People also have to remember just because she was making plans,it doesn't mean she wasn't also thinking about ending herself. Not everyone looks obviously depressed, sometimes you can't tell someone's running out of hope and is thinking of ending it. She bought the gun, so maybe she did end it herself and just wanted to make sure her body would be found. Sometimes you can look totally fine yet you're fighting your own demons.

Unless the police can place the husband at the scene it appears to be suicide. Asking 911 if they can locate her cell implies she wanted her remains located. Lots of loose ends, having to buy a firearm may indicate she was not experienced and like many inexperienced shooters she may have found out the thing goes bang easier than expected. Needless to say, no stone needs to be left unturned.

If it’s a suspicious death authorities will always question the spouse. Any kind of sudden death from substances, going missing or suicide are treated as a potential murder investigation. Especially if the spouse has a HIGHLY suspicious trail on themselves online or socially and it was known they were abusive or the victim voiced that they felt in danger near the end. With cases of both men and women slowly poisoning or abusing/isolating their spouses it’s not an open and shut case. Maybe in certain states are lazy and fail to view cases seriously, but it’s the golden standard to cover all the bases. Don’t be reductive and try to do a whataboutism with this.
