Investigation underway after NYPD officer fires gun during Columbia raid

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office is investigating the firing of an officer's weapon during the break-up of a large protest inside a Columbia University building on Tuesday. The NYPD said the incident was an accidental discharge. CBS News correspondent Lilia Luciano has more.

Young people... do not lose your college degree over this. Palestine, Gaza, Israel, Hamas had issues before you and will continue to have issues. FOCUS ON YOUR STUDIES! You did not come to college to become a martyred activist. Do not get expelled from your school, with felony charges over this issue that exists with or without you.
