Arvabelle and Investing with Rose and Cherry Tung: My favorite finance investing gurus that I learn so much from. We need more women to teach us about the stock market. Data shows that many women, more than men have financial problems later in life since most of the time (but not always) they relied on the male figure to take care of the finances, so glad this is changing. Keep up the good trend for the future.

Absolutely. From my understanding women (on several, not all in professions) makes .80 cents for every dollar a man makes and even less if she's black and or minority sadly. That needs to change. Knowledge is power and I'm all in for that differences when it comes to bridging that pay gap and equality ..

Question. Of course If I purchase 1 stock and desire to sell, the order should be processed quickly. However let's say I want to make my money by buying $10,000 worth of a stock, when I decide to sell my holdings would it be difficult at all to sell $10,000 of a stock at once?

Arvabelle if you’re available now, please let me know more about buying the Stor stock on TD Ameritrade, which is Store Capital Corp...my question is with me picking DAY as expiration, is that the best choice, since I’m new to investing? Also I was planning on just choosing 1 for quantity and will that charge my account frequently, for choosing DAY as expiration? Thanks an advance.

How much money do you recommend saving before starting to invest?
@Arvabelle4 жыл бұрын
It's totally up to you. Some people build an emergency fund first, and others invest some while they're also building up their savings. Depending on which brokerage you go with you can start investing with very little money.
@NourMohamed-xe8zw4 жыл бұрын
@@Arvabelle Gotcha. Do you have any brokerages that you recommend? From my research, everyone seems to like Fidelity and M1 Finance.

I recently opened up a TD Ameritrade individual brokerage account. I have a roth IRA but its with a different firm but im not able to buy purchase/sell stocks on my own. I would like to transfer my Roth IRA over to TD Ameritrade. My question is...with TD Ameritrade, Am I able to invest in stocks myself? Or do I have to tell a broker to make a purchase for me?
@janshuster14264 жыл бұрын
With TD you make your own decisions and place your own orders online. Open the account at TD first then enter the account you want to roll over. If you have trouble call them. 1) You do NOT want to close the ROTH acct and have the money sent to you. You want to do a DIRECT rollover. 2) putting all holdings into cash before the rollover will make things simpler.
@Arvabelle4 жыл бұрын
Yes with TD Ameritrade you are able to invest in stocks yourself!

@tungsten60174 жыл бұрын
i prefer to add more shares on a red day. But of course if you prefer a hand-off approach, and don't want to look at the market everyday, then DRIP is perfectly fine, as long as you pick high quality companies which less volatility.
