Almost every youtube post is about this. Do people actually make real money from this or is this some sort of ponzi scheme?
@marguritetheodore21948 ай бұрын
Yeah, people actually make that much from the market, although they usually have more expertise than average, or they use experts i.e hedge funds or fin.advisers. There's a goldmine in the market, especially as the Nasdaq is rising.

True. I've been using an FA since covid and I'm stunned that most people don't use this but prefer "gambling". I'm not yet netting that amount weekly but considering how I started out, I make more than enough

It is very easy to buy in on trending stocks but the problem is knowing when to sell or hold, which is why a coach is important. I've been in touch with one for about a year now and although I was initially skeptical about it, I will say I've made more progress within a year generating 6figure profit.

Only the mega cap tech stocks are moving right now. Only 10% of stocks are driving the Nasdaq and S&P500. This is the sickest the market has ever been. That’s why the indices can be green but 90% of stocks are red.

It's crucial to have a well-thought-out strategy and not make impulsive moves based on short-term market fluctuations. Patience and a long-term perspective are key. You should consider a market expert to guide you.

Well don’t spend anything and resist your emotions. You could literally put in HSA savings account no risk at 5 percent and spend some on the interest on not effect principle. Then after that look at VTI vanguard and buy when the market goes down, market is way up now so slowly buy the market as it dips , leave some in HSA

Is it worth it for retired seniors living on a pension or social security to invest? I'm single, no kids, debt-free with a fully-funded emergency fund. I have a few hundred dollars a month extra that I currently put in a savings account earning 5.25%. Should I invest or just continue saving?
@catseyes8377 Жыл бұрын
Invest it because you could live to 90 years of age
@teresateresa8933 Жыл бұрын
I say no, once you become a senior that’s when you take less risk because you may not have the time to recover from a major crash. However, if you can survive without the money you are investing - then go for it, take the risk, I would. And lastly, 5 & 6% on savings right now, works for me. Good luck with what you decide.

Open a brokerage account, deposit money, and then buy your mutual funds. Fidelity, Schwab, and Vanguard are the three most common brokerage accounts and all have good index mutual funds for whatever you need.
@Youdontknowwhatliterallymeans Жыл бұрын
Dave Ramsey recommends that you begin investing in Baby Step 4. Invest 15% of your take-home income. 1/4 of your 15% percent goes into growth and income, 1/4 into growth, 1/4 into aggressive growth and 1/4 into international. However, Warren Buffet is the wealthiest investor in the world and he recommends index funds for most people. Leave it in the market no matter what, never take it out or invest more than 15% no matter how the market's doing. Consistency is key. If you have an average income or higher and follow Dave's homebuying advice you ought to reach millionaire status in 12 years,

Rachel is wrong about one thing: Mutual funds outperforming the market. In any given year, more than half of all "professionally managed" funds underperform the market. For a 10 year time horizon, over 80% of actively managed mutual funds underperform. After 20 years, about 95% of active funds underperform. For 30 years and beyond, which is the time horizon for people saving for retirement, there are virtually no active funds that outperform for that long. Just stick your money into passive funds.
